Jada Pinkett-Smith Defends Her Marriage

“Every year, a celebrity couple is on the radar. This year, unluckily, it’s us! I almost want to say that we should have been expecting it,” she told Gala France. “But Will and I know the truth. We are waiting peacefully for when the storm ends.”

“These rumors are completely untrue. I’m travelling a lot because of my work, as Will does. And the fact that I’m accompanying our daughter, Willow, on her trips, while Will spends time with our son, Jaden, doesn’t make things easier.”

“But our way of living hasn’t changed. Before the children, we were already away from each other quite often because of our work. In general, Will and I take two months of holiday, at the end of the year. Right after Thanksgiving, we shut down the curtain and nothing comes to bother our family life until January.”

Jada Pinkett-Smith Named "Woman of the Year"

The Harvard Black Men's Forum recognized Jada Pinkett-Smith during its 18th annual Celebration of Black Women at Leverett House in Cambridge, MA.

The actress was named "Woman of the Year" during the event for her "trailblazing professional success" and the charity work she's done with her husband, Will.

“I’ve strived to show that we can be and do anything that we want,” she said after accepting the award and explaining how she wants to prove to other black women that they can do it all. Instead of giving a speech, Pinkett-Smith opened the floor to allow students to ask her questions and talked about her career, role models, family values and how to balance work and family.

“She did a great job,” event attendee Cheta G. Emba said. “She offered a lot of encouragement and tips for how Black women and women can make the most of the opportunities they are presented with. It was awesome."

He’s got American Idol and X-Factor, so it’s only right that Simon Cowell would next try and make a popular reality competition shows by adding DJs in the mix.



The famous media mogul is in negotiations with Hollywood power couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith to produce a talent search show to find the world’s next star DJ. According to the Hollywoord Reporter

"DJ’s are the new rock stars, it feels like the right time to make this show,” Cowell said in a statement announcing the news.

News: Will and Jada Own Philadelphia 76ER's

Philadelphia's got its own superstar rapper running part of its basketball team. Will Smith has acquired a minority stake in the Philadelphia 76ers along with his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, it was announced on Tuesday (Oct. 18).

According to CSN Philly, the couple acquired part of the team as it was being sold from Comcast-Spectacor to a group of investors led by multibillionaire Joshua Harris. Harris held a press conference at the Palestra on Tuesday morning to announce the plans of the team's new ownership. "It is an honor to become part of this storied franchise. We have a lot of work to do, but we have a rich history, a strong foundation and a bright future," says Harris.

The NBA, sadly, is still in the midst of a lockout, and the first two weeks of the 2011-12 season have been canceled.

Smith is a Philly native that attended Overbrook High School in West Philadelphia. 

News: Will Smith Walks In On Jada Pinkett And Marc Anthony?

This is starting to sound like a soap opera. So this is probably just a rumor, so therefore just enjoy it but not spread it.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are having significant problems in their marriage, but they have NOT made a decision to separate at least not yet this according to sources connected with the couple.

Reports have been swirling that the couple has separated. It's"definitely a possibility" but they haven't pulled the trigger. In fact, Will, Jada and their kids are going away together soon as a family. TMZ's sources would neither confirm nor deny if the trip is a last ditch effort to save the relationship.

The somewhat curious statement from Will and Jada, that their marriage is "intact." Specifically, why didn't they go the more traditional PR route and say they're still in love and committed to each other? Our sources privately said, the language was carefully constructed.

A suspicious Will Smith paid a surprise visit to Jada Pinkett Smith and found her with Marc Anthony this according to a new report.

In Touch Weekly claims in early August Will had become increasingly suspicious that his wife was having an affair with her co-star Marc Anthony and secretly flew home from a movie shoot. The mag claims Will walked in the house, found Marc Anthony and Jada together and left the house crying.

Reps for Will and Jada said Tuesday Jada had not been unfaithful to Will, specifically mentioning Marc Anthony in the denial. A source close to the couple tells TMZ Marc was at Jada's home, but in April not August, when he went over to look at a DVD.

In Touch claims Jada and Will have been living separate lives for months. As we reported, sources close to the couple insist they have not separated, but there are significant problems in their marriage.

This is none of our business, but remember just around that time Jennifer filed for divorce.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have separated according to In Touch Weekly.

Will and Jada have been married for 13 years and have two extremely famous children together Jaden and Willow. Will has another son, Trey, from a previous marriage.

TMZ placed a call to Jada's rep, Karynne Tencer, who said us "What? In Touch said that? I know nothing about this ... Lord. I'm going back to bed."

So it's probably a false alarm, but we will keep you posted.

UPDATE: The couple just released this statement "Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false."

The two add, "We are still together, and our marriage is intact."
