RuPaul's Drag Race - Season 4, Ep. 1: What Did You Think?

Did anyone watch RuPaul's Drag Race last night? I am still laughing at some of the hijinks that went down during the "Rupocalypse"...
  • Drag Queens + spinning on a turntable + being squirted with "toxic waste" = TELEVISION GOLD
  • Willam (above, left) needs to get over herself. First of all, her manly face resembles Miss Vida Boheme (below) in To Wong Fu ...and that's not a good thing.
  • Secondly, the talk of Willam being an "actor" and not a drag queen was annoying. Why be on a drag competition then? I loved it when one of the other queens asked her that same question and Willam couldn't answer.
  • Kenya Michaels pronounced "island" as "ICE lan". God bless her.
  • My favorite queen? Miss Latrice Royale. If Andre Leon Tally had a rap sheet and decided to do drag, she would become Miss Latrice. Oh the SHADE of it all...
Photobucket
  • They pulled a cute stunt making us think that Shangela was coming back.
  • Sharon Needles really creeps me out. But even creepier was The Princess hitting on her. Gross
  • Favorite line of the night: RuPaul (discussing Jiggly Caliente's runway "look") - "Hoarding is the new black".
Did you watch? What did YOU think??

Allen Iverson's Checks Being Garnished To Pay Back Debt

Allen Iverson was sued back in 2010 for not paying Aydin & Company Jewelers the $375,000 bill that he owes them.

A default judgement was issued in favor of the jewelry store allowing A&C to collect $859,896.46 for the bling, court costs, interest and attorneys fees.

Allen still didn't pay so earlier this month the judge signed off on an order which allows the store to recoup their loss directly from Iverson's Wells Fargo bank account.

Madonna To Open 10 Schools In Malawai

Nearly six years after it was created, Madonna's Raising Malawi charity is set to break ground on the construction of schools in the impoverished country, but they will be run by the local community, not the superstar's organization.

All of the schools should be built by June 2013. Raising Malawi is providing $300,000 to the non-governmental organization buildOn to develop the schools. They'll serve about 1,000 boys and girls in the southern African nation.

"This remains a very big priority in my life and I am excited that with the help of buildOn we can maintain our ongoing commitment to move forward efficiently," Madonna said in a statement provided to The Associated Press.

"I have learned a great deal over the last few years and feel so much more confident that we can reach out goals to educate children in Malawi, especially young girls, in a much more efficient and practical way," she said. Madonna has adopted two children from Malawi.

Neilson praised Madonna for sticking with her plan to build schools for Malawi's children despite several setbacks for the star, who is the director of the new movie "W.E.," out next week, and is this year's Super Bowl performer. Madonna brought in Global Philanthropy to work with Raising Malawi more than a year ago and removed the involvement of the Kabbalah Centre. She has practiced Kabbalah, a form of Jewish mysticism.

(1995), Goosebumps (1996), Breaker High (1997–98) and Young Hercules (1998–99).

Gosling came to the attention of a wider audience in 2004 with a leading role in the romantic drama The Notebook, for which he won four Teen Choice Awards and an MTV Movie Award. His performance as a drug-addicted teacher in Half Nelson (2006) was nominated for an Academy Award and his performance as a socially inept loner in Lars and the Real Girl (2007) was nominated for a Golden Globe Award.

After a three-year acting hiatus, Gosling starred in both Blue Valentine and All Good Things in 2010. Rapper Cory Gunz Arrested

Looks like Cory is walking in the footsteps of his label President Lil Wayne

MTV News spoke with veteran Bronx rapper Peter Gunz, who confirmed that his son Cory Gunz was in custody, after being arrested with a loaded firearm. The 24-year-old rapper was handcuffed around 2p.m. on Saturday in his hometown, Bronx, New York.

Gunz was unable to disclose full details on the incident just yet, but he explained the events leading up to his son’s arrest. “I spoke to the arresting officer, and so far, what I’m hearing from him is that they got a phone call at the station saying they should ‘look out,’

“What I will say is that the officer that arrested Cory, actually happened to be a cool dude,” Gunz continued. “After arresting Cory, sitting down with him and talking, he felt bad about the situation.”

Gunz junior was brought to the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx on Saturday, but officials there say he has since been transported to Central Booking, on E. 161st Street in the Bronx.

While this is Cory Gunz’s first brush with the law, his father is still worried about the potential fallout from a firearm charge. “At the end of the day, there’s a reason for everything, but at the same time, in New York, it’s mandatory jail time,” he said. “To go to a precinct and see your son, your junior, in handcuffs, it’s heartbreaking. Anytime you see your child in jail, in the cell, in handcuffs, it’s very hard. He’s walked down some of the same paths that I walked down, but you never want to see your kids go through what you went through.

“This is Cory’s first offense, but sometimes they like to make an example out of rappers and people with any kind of celebrity to them.”
