News: Stacey Dash Quit "Single Ladies" Not Fired ?

So who is telling the truth? It's hard to tell these days. But here is Stacey's response to leaving the show "Single Ladies"

“I truly enjoyed playing Val on ‘Single Ladies’, but I have decided to leave the show. I have to be back in LA with my children right now and the ‘Single Ladies’ shooting location makes that impossible. I wish VH1 the best of luck with the show and in maintaining the strong fan base we developed in season one.”

And VH1 does seem to play along.

“VH1 respects Stacey’s decision and her commitment to what she feels is best for her family. We thank her for all of her hard work in making ‘Single Ladies’ a success right out of the gate, and we wish her nothing but the best in her future plans.”

Oscar De La Hoya is opening up about why he checked himself into rehab, claiming he was abusing cocaine and alcohol, cheating on his wife and even considering suicide.

The boxing icon spoke with Univision saying, "There were drugs, my drug of choice was cocaine and alcohol. Cocaine was recent. The last 2 years, last 2-and-a-half years and I depended more on the alcohol than the cocaine."

De La Hoya says he's been sober for three months but he's still undergoing treatment. He also says he's joined Alcoholics Anonymous.

Oscar also revealed that he cheated on his wife -- explaining, "We are obviously not talking Tiger Woods here, but I was unfaithful."

R.I.P. Paris Dupree

The last of the legends from Paris Is Burning has passed away. Paris Dupree is gone - joining Pepper LaBeija, Angie & Venus Xtravaganza, Dorian Corey, Willie Ninja and Octavia St. Laurent in that Grand Ballroom in the Sky.

From Next Magazine (via Lady Bunny):

The ball community mourns the passing of original house mother Paris Dupree, the namesake of the landmark documentary Paris Is Burning.

In New York’s drag ball world, Paris Dupree was considered a legend among legends. As the founding mother of the House of Dupree, she was an inimitable force, an iconic figure who mobilized young, urban gays to express themselves in ways that mainstream America could not quite understand. That is until the release of Jennie Livingston 1990 documentary Paris Is Burning, which was named after one of Dupree’s grand balls.

Tens across the board, Paris - you earned it.

For The Ladies: 2PAC Naked

Look what someone sent me in my in box. #RIP 2PAC

News: The Outlawz Smoked 2Pac's Ashes

The Outlawz most famous for the Biggie Smalls diss track "Hit 'em Up" -- said, "Yeah, it's definitely true" claiming it all went down at a beach memorial for 2Pac and his mom was present at the time.

The rappers claim the idea was inspired by a lyric in one of Tupac's songs in which he said, "Last wishes niggas, smoke my ashes."

So the Outlawz say they simply followed 2Pac's request explaining, "We twist up some of that great granddaddy California kush and mixed the big homie with it, so you know, 2Pac flowin' through our system."

Shhhhhhhh ....

Artist On The Rise: Nova

On The 6th Presents Nova, an artist on the rise.

Take a minute and get to know him, In his own words:

My name is Christian. I'm  an artist that goes by "Nova". On stage I turn into "SupaNovaLove" because I'm in full form. I love being on stage. I'm 22 years old from Michigan, born in Detroit. My influences are Drake, The Dream, Ryan Leslie, and Pharrell just to name a few.

I started writing my own music when I was 14. Because of the "blackout" that hit so many states in  2004, we didn't have power for like a week. Some neighborhood friends and I did our own version of "Making the band" we all looked up to my next door neighbors brother. He had everything I wanted. So, we just did what he said. He made the beats. An I made it in "our band" which was like me an 2 others.

I've always been good at rapping other artist lyrics. In the 6th grade I was to get a girlfriend because I could rap to Bow wow's lyrics.

My first project was a mixtape I did in 2008 with a whole bunch of other artists I was rapping with.
It was called "The New Beginning" I had a few feats on it. I was syked, i'm still friends with all them from highschool. I also look to them for inspiration at times.

I really love to perform. It feels like "music" is all I have sometimes.  Sometimes I'm not sure if I want to do this my whole life. My emotions change alot, but I continue to make music and perform. My heart won't allow me to stop, I won't allow me to stop.

My proudest moment is when I made my first mixtape "21Love" the summer of 2010.  I have yet to perform in front of thousands of people, which I plan to. I would also like to go on tour. I don't even have to get a "record deal" just yet, but just to see the world.

I kinda regret not taking my music serious at a younger age. But, at the same time I needed to live my life!
Over all  I'm a nice guy. I love big pretty lights on big stages. I'm not to infatuated with money. Because I never had alot of money. What i don't like about myself is that I'm afraid to die. I believe in Jesus, but there is something about the feeling of almost dying that scares me.

I'm trying to figure out what type of music I want to make. At the moment I just dropped an EP with another Artist (Jynkz) tilted "Diamondz In Tokyo" on the 26th of July. I am going to shoot a couple videos for that project. And also do some shows.

Arby's Space Is Now A Tacky Pink Store

The landmarked Gage & Tollner restaurant space - which was, briefly, a delicious Arby's - is now a hot-pink jewelry store called "Ladies and Gents" (above). Which, based on the picture, looks a lot like Claire's - only pinker and not nearly as classy.

News: Foxy Brown And Mary J. Blige Recorded An Album Together

With Jay-Z and Kanye West's 'Watch the Throne' album currently ruling the charts, similar collaborative concepts keep coming out of the woodwork, but Foxy Brown has revealed perhaps the most surprising one an album that would have paired the deep-voiced Brooklyn MC with the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige.

Foxy revealed that she and Mary had recorded five songs towards an album entitled 'Best of Both Girls,'
"People don't know, me and Mary J. Blige recorded five records for an album called 'The Best of Both Girls,' like Jay and R. Kelly did 'The Best of Both Worlds,'" Foxy announced, before revealing the unfortunate circumstance that derailed their recording process. "Mary's like a big sister to me, and in the middle of recording those records, I lost all my hearing."

According to Fox, Blige's 2005 single 'Enough Cryin'," which introduced the R&B diva's rapping alias Brook-Lynn, was originally intended to feature Foxy, but due to the loss of her hearing, she was unable to record her part.

"When you hear Mary in the video like, 'You turned your back and back I came running, but the simple fact is that you ain't want me,' that was me," Foxy continued to explain. "Mary had enough respect to say, 'Listen, before I go get another rap bitch to do your part, I'ma call myself Brook-Lyn and I'ma learn your part and I'ma go in and rap it for you.'"

I wonder if it'll ever be completed and come out?

Artist On The Rise: Anthony "TNT" Ross

On The 6th Presents: Anthony "TNT" Ross, An Artist On The Rise

Take a minute and get to know this up and coming California  artist

In his own words:

I'm a rapper, but I would rather be known as a artist.
For the people that don't know me, my name is Anthony Ross also known as TNT which is my stage name. Born in Marin general hospital raised in Richmond, Ca. I moved to Sacramento and I rep Sac to the fullest now. I started rapping when I was 14, I started a rap group with my boy TJ Baker & my boys called me Tee so we formed a group called TNT.

I was a star on the field, a lot of people knew me for my speed and now in this game people know me for the realness, soulful music that I make. It feels good to know that people bump my music that I work hard on.

Up next for me is my new album titled "No U-Turnz" meaning no turning back because the past is the past. Also new music will always be dropping on www.facebook.com/thisistnt & also on www.reverbnation.com/thisistnt and video's will be dropping on www.YouTube.com/thisistnt

My proudest moment is everyday I wake up & knowing I'm able to make music and also make friends, I love networking.

I want to travel the world and let everybody and they mamma hear my music haha. Nah all jokes aside I would like to travel the world.

Well I'm going to let you into my personal life, I have no regrets in my life because if I never went through it I would never learn and grow as a person. But I do regret selling guns which was a dumb yet selfish moment of my life. Which I would never advise anyone to get mix up in the street life, there's nothing good out in the streets but death and life changing moments.

My personality is about having fun and living in the moment. Smiling everyday and creating a better lifestyle for my future kids. I really don't have any dislikes about myself. Everyday I make changes in my life to make everybody around me happy, I'm happy when my loved ones are happy!

The best advice I have ever received was from my dad, he always says "lessons are learn & trust is earned!" it always sticks with me and my lifestyle because there's always somebody claiming there real when there really fake.

Advice I would give somebody in this game is, keep GRINDING it's ruff, Keep your head up and don't get involved with drugs that change you as a person. Don't get caught up in the hype and don't pay attention to haters.

My project is done "No U-Turnz" will be coming out in Nov. Of 2011. I always got unreleased tracks and videos dropping all the time. Im currently doing a lot of features with other rappers/singers. I love collaborating with different artists.

In five years I should be kicking my feet up laughing about the past & how much hard work it took to get here.

News: Kim Kardashian Wants To Remove Her SexTape From The Internet

Do you think its humanly possible to get something removed from the internet?
The tape was made, to launch her career. I guess now, that she's made it now she wants it to be removed so no one can view it ever again. The real question is who is still watching it, and purchasing it? LOL It's boring, poorly acted and staged. That's just my opinion, and besides Kim has had multiple plastic surgeries since then and doesn't even look like the girl on the tape. What do you guys think about this story?

UPDATE: Kim Kardashian has to pay minimum of $30 million dollars to get her sex tape off of the internet!
