L.L Cool J To Host The Grammys

L.L Cool J already has experience hosting the annual Grammy nominations concert, and now he's finally ready for the big show. On Wednesday it was announced that the legendary rapper has been tapped to host the Grammy Awards broadcast on February 12.

"I'm thrilled to be part of Music's Biggest Night," LL said in a statement, according to People.com. He's hosted the nominations concert every year since 2008. "I will always have fond memories of my first Grammys Awards and to now be hosting the Grammy show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true."

Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Foo Fighters, Taylor Swift join Kelly Clarkson, Jason Aldean and Bruno Mars as some of the lucky nominees who will also take the stage at the show.

The show airs live from Los Angeles on CBS next month.

Things I Didn't Need To See...

Regardless of the TMI photo above, I feel bad for Lady Gaga.  She risks life and limb at the Grammys by wearing multiple outfits which could stab and kill her in if she fell ... and then loses to Susie Creamcheese...

Happy White Meat Monday, dear Dust Bunnies!

Did you guys watch the Grammys last night? The parts I watched were, for the most part, fabulous. However the opening – with Alicia Keys and the very dead Frank Sinatra – was kind of a dud.

Tina Turner was fan-fucking-tastic, and was obviously celebrating the fact that Ike had finally died. When Cher introduced her, I could almost hear the gay gasps from around the world. I never realized that Cher has been a Tina Turner fan since she was 16 years old – which would make it sometime during the Calvin Coolidge administration.

But I have to mention Miss Amy WineWarehouse. I was totally waiting for the train wreck that never came. She TURNED IT OUT. And she had this little smirk on her face that kind of said – “You thought I was going to be a mess, didn’t you? Well SUCK IT BITCHES!” In the words of our little Mango - she was fierce.

Travel To L. A. For The Grammys? No No No!

Amy WineWarehouse's visa application to fly to the United States to perform at the Grammys was denied. She will perform via satelliete instead.
