Pilar Sanders
has been arrested for domestic violence after attacking Deion Sanders in their Texas home Pilar was booked for "assault family violence" which is a misdemeanor.
Deion says two of his sons witnessed the alleged attack.
Although Pilar and Deion are going through a bitter divorce they are still living together in their suburban Dallas home.
Pilar had been taken to the hospital immediately after the incident claiming she needed medical treatment but she is now in police custody.
Deion claims he didn't harm Pilar, and only "defended" himself until he was able to call police.
Deion Sanders just called police after Pilar attacked him and now he wants her locked up.
TMZ spoke with Deion who told them Pilar Sanders was transported to the hospital after claiming she needed medical attention.
Deion tells us he was in his bedroom when Pilar busted in and began "kicking, biting, and scratching" him in front of his sons. He says he merely defended himself until he was able to call police.
Deion tweeted, "Pray for me and my kids now! They just witnessed their mother and a friend jump me in my room. She's going to jail n I'm pressing charges!"
He continued ... "I'm sad my boys witnessed this mess but I warned the police department here that she was gone try n harm me and my boys."
The suit was clearly triggered by Deiondra's Twitter rant earlier this month in which she trashed Pilar as a "gold diggin' hoe" and publicly accused her of cheating on Deion.
In her lawsuit, Pilar claims Deiondra and Deion have been attacking her with various "emotional weapons" for years including dominance, humiliation, isolation, threats, intimidation, denial and blame.
Pilar claims the Twitter rant was just another example of the humiliation she was forced to endure during the marriage adding, "Deion and Deiondra even persuaded Pilar that she was and is worthless, a 'gold diggin' ho, and that no one else would want her."
Pilar also claims the two would intimidate her by leaving various weapons on display around the house and "hurting pets."
The details of the alleged animal abuse are not explained in the suit.
Pilar is demanding $150 MILLION in punitive damages and $50 mil in actual damages.
Meanwhile, the divorce proceedings are still underway.
Pilar Sanders called cops to Deion's mansion where she was physically attacked by Deion's aunt.Pilar claims Deion just watched it all go down.Pilar told officers that Deion's aunt arrived to the mansion to see Deion but Pilar told Laura she was not welcome in the home and asked her to leave. Laura refused to leave and after some words were exchanged, Laura threw an object at Pilar striking her in the eye. After a fight broke out Pilar called 911. No arrests were made and the situation is under investigation.
Deiondra Sanders Deion's 19yr old daughter from a previous relationship -- just BLASTED her step-mom on her Twitter account claiming Pilar Sanders has been a TERRIBLE wife to her famous father.
Before she unleashed, Deiondra apologized to her father claiming Deion "is going to be very upset at me 4 he always takes the higher route."
Then she GOES OFF claiming Pilar straight up LIED when she claimed she found out Deion filed for divorce on TMZ.com.
Deiondra writes, "#HowYouDidntKnow but yo boxes have been packed for weeks now."
She adds, "HowYoTopPriorityBeen yo marriage and yo kids when u flying out to see other niggas ... yeah we know."
Deiondra added, "All u had to do was be a supportive wife. Only thing u ever cared about doing with my dad is reality shows."
"Pilar stop tryna play the victim. Maybe if u would of actually loved my dad and not loved the life he gave you we would be here today."
Pilar's lawyer, Larry Friedman, tells TMZ "Marriage is a relationship between two adults and it doesn’t involve engaging this kind of faceless accusations made by his child."
He adds, "If Deion has something to say, he'll battle it out at the courthouse. Meanwhile Pilar is still trying to protect her children and save her marriage."
Deion Sanders and his wife Pilar are getting divorced "Pilar and I have decided to end our marriage and move on to the next phase of our individual lives with mutual respect. We are friends and our top priority has and will continue to be the well-being of our children."
He continues, "We arrived at this decision prayerfully and carefully in order to be able to pursue what is in both of our best personal interests."
Deion and Pilar married in 1999 and they have three children together
