Television Cuties

I've noticed some (formerly unknown to me) hotties appearing on my TV screen during the last few weeks. One of them is Haaz Sleiman - who plays a gay muslim nurse on Nurse Jackie. Has anyone seen that show? I LOVE it, but then again I'd pay money to watch Edie Falco (below) alphabetize her spice rack: "Allspice ... Basil ... Bay Leaf ... Cardamom ... ".

Yet another season of The Real World has begun (In Roman Numerals, this is Season XXVIIXXCCVIIXCCV), and this time they're in Cancun. And YES, there is the requisite Gay - and he's a cute New Mexico native named Derek Chavez...

I saw former Daddy of the Day Alex Castro on the History Channel playing Hannibal (the military dude from Carthage - NOT Hannibal Lector). All Alex had to do was look stern and flex his muscles ... so naturally he was PERFECT for the part...

I recently noticed cutie Douglas Spain playing the role of "Raul Arias" on one of my favorite shows, CSI Miami. Once I saw him I just had to fire up The Google and find out more...

I dont watch So You Think You Can Dance that much, but I was sad to see cutie Jonathan Platero get sent home...

And, finally, it looks like television hottie Anderson Cooper has found a great big giant hunk of gorgeousness to go "bike-riding" with. Get it, Girl!

Alex Castro Shows His "Personality"...

Our fave American Gladiator, Alex Castro AKA "Militia", attended the In Touch Summer Stars Party - and was surprisingly one of the biggest names there. Must have been a pretty lame party. See the story from A Socialite's Life here.

I'm glad that when Alex goes to an event, he attends with very few articles of clothing. Militia seems to realize that no one would recognize him without spandex. Please remind me to book him for the eventual Dust Bunny Extravaganza...

American Gladiators Returns Tonight

American Gladiators returns tonight to NBC, with a new "White Meat" Gladiator - Evan "Rocket" Dollard. Evan was the winner of the last AG cycle, and part of his prize was to become the newest Gladiator. I'm sorry, but my gaydar goes OFF THE CHARTS every time I see this Twinkie. What do you think?

And I am happy to report that my favorite Gladiator - Alex "Militia" Castro - will be returning. Mmmmmmm ... tasty!

American Gladiators

I sat down and watched the premiere of American Gladiators last night – all TWO HOURS of it. All I can say is – some things from the 80’s should NEVER be brought back.

I was watching mainly to catches glimpses of Militia (Alex Castro) and Toa (Tanoai Reed). Imagine my excitement when during the VERY FIRST men’s challenge, Militia is announced as the competing Gladiator. Imagine my disappointment when after about 20 seconds, Milita got hurt and left the competition – NEVER TO BE SEEN OR HEARD FROM AGAIN. If that papi is like ANY of the macho, straight-ish Latino men I’ve messed around with over the years, he’s probably STILL with his mother, who’s telling him that he’s the most handsome man in the world, and forcing him to eat arroz con pollo. SUCH babies…

At least we got to see a lot of Toa. In fact, after one scuffle, Toa actually kissed one of the “regular” challengers on the forehead. Not in a loving way, more to piss the guy off. But hell, if that was me I would have taken what I could get. Toa really IS a stone cold fox, if you can get past the crazy act, miniskirt, and eye makeup.

The other male Glads were tired. “Wolf” looked dirty, “Titan” looked like a bottle-blond gym queen (he even called the referee “Big Daddy” at one point), and the show also features your standard issue large intimidating black men.

Oh, and there are also women on the show. I have one word to sum up the whole “female” side of American Gladiators….LESBIANS. Honey, there hasn’t been a show this lesbionic since Xena: Warrior Princess.

I’m not so sure I’ll be watching American Gladiators regularly…especially if my papi Militia is still with his Moms.

Daddy Of The Day - Tanoai Reed

Recently I told you about Alex Castro, the Latino hunk who will be appearing in the new American Gladiators television show as "Militia". I would now like to introduce you to another cast member - Tanoai Reed - who's name on the show will be "Toa".

Tanoai is a Hollywood stunt man, and is best known for doing stunts for his cousin, The Rock.
