News: Diddy Saves "Boys And Girls Club"

"Diddy" saved the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem in New York City. They will remain open during financial hardships. When Combs learned that his hometown's organization was on the verge of shutting down due to a lack of federal, state, and private funding, he came to the rescue.

"Mr. Combs' contribution comes at a time when we were faced with the possibility of eliminating existing programs and/or club sites," says Willie C. Bentley, Jr., board member and resource development chair of The Boys and Girls Club of Harlem.

"One hundred percent of Mr. Combs' contribution will go directly to the young people, and provide educational, recreational and social enrichment programs programs allowing us to move forward as a club, uninterrupted."

Why do positive stories never get the love.
