Easter was never a big deal with my family growing up. We never really went to church - much to the gentle dismay of my Grandfather, who never missed a Sunday at the First Lutheran and sang in the choir. So after my brother and I became too old to look forward to the Easter Bunny, Easter just became another day.
In Central Pennsylvania many people celebrate Easter with a big ham dinner on Easter Sunday and I still try to get my Easter ham fix here in NYC. Boston Market used to serve really good ham, but they stopped a few years ago. But since I have to "Weigh-In" on Monday (and, diet-wise, I haven't had the best week), maybe I'll skip it this year.
Anybody have big plans this weekend?
