Carmelo’s “Carmelo Anthony Foundation” partnered with Syracuse University coach Jim Boeheim to create the “Courts 4 Kids” initiative, which, with the help of sponsors like Time Warner, Jordan Brand and Chrysler, revitalizes basketball courts in underprivileged neighborhoods.
This weekend, Carmelo hosted a three day charity event in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, in which he officially “opened” the initiative’s newest outdoor court.
