BREAKING: DavidDust In The News!

Thanks to Amber LeMay for the heads-up about THIS hilarious blog post over at Suburban Empire. Furthermore, I would like to personally thank Vermont Republican Gubernatorial candidate Brian Dubie for helping to fund my next trip to The Urges.

The Father, the Son, and the HOLY TOAST

The Daily Bread Toaster Company of Vermont allows you to MAKE YOUR OWN JEEBUS TOAST!! Just think - you can have your Jeebus and eat him too - FOR BREAKFAST!!

And imagine how much money you could make on Ebay selling The Holy Toast to idiots True Believers.

Thanks to Just A Jeep Guy for the heads-up.

Presented With(out) Comment...

OK, just one comment:  Excellent "hands pushing down on top of the head" technique!  This certainly ain't Miss Thang's first time at the Rodeo.

Wait, I think that was at least two comments... sorry.

Amber LeMay Is Such a Doll

Darling DustBunny Amber LeMay needs our help - she is trying to become a Bobblehead for a baseball team.  Now get your minds out of the gutter, biatches.

The Vermont Lake Monsters minor league baseball team is having a contest.  They are looking for a Vermonter to immortalize in plastic and turn into a Bobblehead doll, which will be given out at their stadium on August 27th.  How cool would it be for that Bobblehead to be sporting a wig and tasteful jewelry?!?

Amber LeMay is one of the founders of Vermont's premiere drag troupe - the House of LeMay.  So she definitely satisfies the requirement that the winner have ties to Vermont.  In fact, I'd bet Amber has tied up quite a few (male) Vermonters.  And I'm sure the liquor store clerks in Amber's hometown of Beaver Pond will vouch for her DEEP commitment to the community.

Go HERE to check out Amber's blog post about the contest - but more importantly, go HERE and nominate Amber for plastic superstardom.

On a personal note, I would like to thank Amber (and Bob) for always being there for me.  XOXOXOXO

Winter Is A Drag Ball

Our favorite maple-scented drag divas from Vermont - The House of LeMay - held their 15th annual Winter Is A Drag Ball this past Saturday in South Burlington, and a good time was had by all.  Congratulations to the girls for raising over $13,000 for the Vermont People with AIDS Coalition.

House of LeMay Blog Wins Award

Congratulations to the gals of the House of LeMay for winning a 2009 Seven Daysies Award for Best Non-Political Blog! Seven Days is the Vermont statewide alternative weekly - and this is the second time the LeMay girls have been nominated (and their first win). Check out the LeMay's award-winning blog HERE.

Speaking of our favorite Vermont Drag Queens, here is Amber LeMay's "friend" Bob posing in front of Roast Beef Heaven ...

In other LeMay news, a while back I did a "Name Your Gay Superhero" post and Bob Amber promised a copy of Slingbacks & Syrup (the fabulous documentary about the LeMays) to the winner. I am happy to report that our friend Frogponder is the winner with her suggestion of Lt. Dan Choi (below) as her favorite Gay Superhero. I couldn't agree more...

Thank You Vermont!

Today Vermont became the first state to approve gay marriage via legislation (as opposed to court order). The people's representatives voted, the governor vetoed, and the legislature VOTED TO OVERRIDE HIS REPUBLICAN ASS! Way to go Vermont - you always seem to lead the way on this issue.

Conservatives complain about "activist judges" not listening to the "will of the people" when courts have approved gay marriage in other states. Well LISTEN UP, FUCKTARDS - the PEOPLE (via their elected representatives) made THIS decision.

I have a feeling Dust Bunny Amber and The LeMay girls (below) of Beaver Pond, VT will be getting drunker than usual this weekend...

Now I'm going to round up some Pure Maple Syrup and and a Hot Papi and do my own personal tribute to the great state of Vermont...
