Azealia Banks Goes In On T.I.

T.I has been involved in his fair share of rap beef. From Lil' Flip to Ludacris to Shawty Lo, Tip has held his own against some pretty serious dudes, but when it comes to the attacks from rookie female MC Azealia Banks, the Trouble Man wants no part of it.

Banks took exception when T.I.'s new artist Iggy Azalea landed the 2012 XXL Freshman cover earlier this year. The Harlem rapper had no problem lashing out at Iggy via Twitter, and when Tip defended his new protégé on DJ Drama's radio show in March, Banks fired shots at the King too.

"Banks wasn't the only one who felt funny about it. It was a trending topic people felt so funny about it," Iggy told MTV News earlier this month about her inclusion on the Freshman list.

T.I., however, hasn't been so diplomatic in his response. "The fact that she's speaking up on me and mine, I didn't even see it," he said about Banks when he appeared on the "Tony Sculfield and the Morning Riot" radio show in Chicago on Monday morning (April 23). "That's bitch shit, I'ma man. You ain't got no business addressing me. Get your man to address me, if you got a man, get him to address me and he and I can speak on it."

It doesn't seem like Banks, whose video for her single "212" is fast approaching 12 million views on YouTube, has taken heed. "@tip T.i .... Please shut the fuck up about this. Like seriously quit it," she tweeted hours after the Grand Hustle CEO's interview aired.

Banks continued with a full-on Twitter rant. "@tip funny how you have plenty of time to address me but have nothing to say to the dudes who been calling u at as a snitch forever," she wrote. "@tip it's dead... The streets already know what kind of dude you are. Stop making yourself look softer by dragging this out."

She then proceeded to delete all of T.I.'s songs from her iTunes. "LMFAOO every time I delete a t.i. song from my iPad I imagine him dying in some bloody horror film like being eaten by a zombie," she wrote.

Doesn't she know T.I can end her career before it begins

TI. and Taylor Swift's chance meeting during the country singer's tour stop in Dallas looks to be the beginning of a great relationship according the rapper. T.I. alongside B.o.B. recently spoke with FUSE and addressed rumors of her appearance on Bobby Ray's upcoming Strange Clouds album.
“She came to Atlanta and she hit up Grand Hustle,” Bobby Ray said. “I wasn't there. Tip was there and I eventually linked with her in Dallas and the rest is history.” T.I. added “Taylor's extended Hustle Gang. She a part of the crew. She just ain't got her dog tags yet.”

T.I. Signs Rapper Trae Tha Truth To Grand Hustle

Tip is expanding his Grand Hustle roster by adding Houston street king Trae tha Truth.

Trae and Tip announced the joint venture deal between Grand Hustle and the Houston MC's ABN label on "RapFix Live."

"We're gonna work alongside each other for a common goal and release this Trae tha Truth project," T.I. said of the deal.

The two haven't yet figured out how Trae's upcoming ABN projects will be distributed, however. T.I. is currently signed to Atlantic through Grand Hustle, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Trae's project will travel through the same channels. But Trae doesn't seem overly concerned about the particulars. "Me and Tip are similar in a lot of ways. We both understand what it is," Trae said.

"Grand Hustle is an established brand, ABN is already an established brand, it's about seeing what we can do to parlay what we've already done for ourselves to make it benefit the other and it's a two-way street," T.I. explained.

News: T.I Responds To 50 Cent

T.I. covers the December issue of Vibe, and the recently sprung rapper has a lot to get off his chest. In the interview, Tip lets loose on everything from political conspiracies, the sense of humor in the gay community and, most personally, defending his wife Tiny Cottle over her involvement in his 2010 arrest on possessions charges.

On his political views:

Man, I’m a conspiracy theorist by nature. You can’t experience the federal penal system and not be somewhat skeptical.

On gay rights:

They’re like,‘If you have an opinion against us, we’re gonna shut you down.’ ... That’s not American. If you’re gay you should have the right to be gay in peace, and if you’re against it you should have the right to be against it in peace.

On criticism against Tiny for not taking the heat on the drug charge:

I’ma tell you, 50 Cent and anybody else, we not gonn’a  have no discussion about what my ole lady should’a, would’a, couda done for anything as it pertains to me. We ain’t gonn’a do that. I’m the only one in my family that’s gonna take a lick when it pertains to the legal system. Since me, none of my other family members have seen a jail cell. Nobody. I’m the last one. The buck stops here. I feel that a person that stands behind [his woman for a criminal charge] is a coward anyway.

News: T.I Back In Jail

After only a day being released from prison, T.I. is already back in federal custody.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed to TMZ that the rapper checked into a federal penitentiary in Atlanta last night.

According to T.I.'s lawyer, Steve Sadow, he's back in federal custody because of an issue involving his trip from the Arkansas prison to his Atlanta halfway house on a luxury bus on Wednesday.

"We are awaiting the opportunity to quickly resolve whatever the issue may be that the Federal Bureau of Prisons has with T.I's method of transportation, bus, from Arkansas to Atlanta, so that T.I. can return to the halfway house to complete the remaining days of his sentence."

News: T.I's Release From Prison

T.I is going to be a free man in just a couple of days. Sources have confirmed that the Atlanta rapper, currently serving an 11-month sentence in Forrest City Correctional Facility in Georgia for a parole violation after an L.A. drug arrest, will be released to a halfway house on August 31. Tip will be walking out of jail about a month early, with his original release date listed as September 29 in public records.

The Grand Hustle honcho, born Clifford Harris, Jr., should be ready to get back to the business of making music soon after his release.

While serving his sentence, the King has been keeping fans updated via his TrapMuzik.com website. In his latest entry, the "Live Your Life" rapper revealed that it would be his final blog post since he expected to be released in September.

In that message, T.I. revealed that he planned to have his new music hearken back to material from his earlier days. "Next time you hear from me, I'll be back out there with you," he wrote. "Doing for those who can't do for themselves and speaking for those whose voices are never heard. When I touch down, I'm going all the way back to square one, like I'm fresh in the game and never sold a record. Back on some I'M SERIOUS, TRAP MUZIK sh--. ... But until then RESPECT to all who deserve it."

The well-wishes he received from family, friends and fans inspired T.I. to sponsor a Memorial Day bus trip that brought the families of 14 inmates up for a visit who otherwise would not be able to.

Although authorities in Los Angeles eventually dropped the drug charges against T.I., he was still found guilt of violating the parole terms stemming from his 2007 felony weapons charge

And you know TINY misses this
