Young Jeezy Concert Ends In Gunfire

A concert in Toronto headlined by Young Jeezy ended in gunfire last night before he even got a chance to hit the stage.

According to AllHipHop.com, the shooting took place around 12:30 a.m. shortly after certain audience members had been fighting.

Although the concert was broken up by the cops before Jeezy's set, the ATL rapper promises to return to Canada to make it up to the fans.

"Backstage @ Sound Academy in Toronto," Jeezy tweeted from the show. "Police closed venue and cancelled the greatest show! I will be back! Next stop London, Ontario! Can't Ban the snowman. I be back Toronto."

The show was a part of Jeezy's Hustlaz Ambition tour, which will continue tonight in London, Ontario, and end tomorrow night at the Olympia Theatre in Montreal.

New Music Album: Young Jeezy "Thug Motivation 103"

Leading up to the release of his long-awaited fourth album Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition, the Atlanta rhyme-slinger’s forthcoming LP has been plagued with a series of push-backs, most notably his public fallout with one-time collaborator-turned-foe Rick Ross. Dropping by 106 and Park to premiere the video for his latest banger “F.A.M.E.” featuring T.I., the raspy-voiced trap star told BET.com that perseverance and dedication were the key factors behind getting this album out.

“I didn’t get in the studio and record ten records and say, 'I got an album, give me my check.'” Jeezy admits. “I go in, and get it in. I stay day and night, night and day, months at a time if that’s what it takes. If you grind hard, you shine hard.”

“I think my longevity has a lot to do with the fact that I got that hustler’s ambition, I go hard, I don’t just settle."

Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition is set to hit stores December 20.

News: Young Jeezy Sued

According to TMZ, a lawsuit was filed in the Virgin Islands against the rapper. Paid 4 Entertainment struck a deal with Young Jeezy back in March to do a show.

Young Jeezy's people told them that he might have a conflict with the June 18 show date and was considering not appearing like a week before the show. According to Paid 4 Entertainment they were willing to work with Jeezy and they reached a new agreement for him to appear on June 19.

They also claim that they went so far as getting a private jet to make it easy on Jeezy, but he didn't make the flight.  His reps eventually called to say Jeezy was pulling the plug.

The company is suing for fraud, among other things, and want more than $75,000 in damages
