We Have Ourselves A Top Chef Recapper!

Here's the deal, Biatches - there is no way in Hades I would be able to recap both Top Chef and Project Runway at the same time. And it seems that ya'll would prefer that I recap Project Runway - and as a matter of fact, so would I.

So I spoke to my adorable friend The Minx (above), and she has agreed to cross-post her hysterical Top Chef recaps here on DavidDust. I am so happy about this I could just PEE, because ya'll are going to get top-quality recaps without ME having to lift a finger. Heaven!!

We are lucky to have her, because Ms. Minx is an extremely busy gal. As some of you may know, she already writes a fashion BLOG, a food BLOG, and she is the founder of ALL TOP CHEF - the go-to resource for everything Top Chef-related. So I am pleased as punch that The Minx has agreed to share her entertaining thought-bubbles with us. Welcome aboard, Darling!!

New Top Chef Tonight

After taking a break for the holidays, Bravo is back tonight with a new episode of Top Chef. Check out the preview videos at MinxEats HERE. Apparently Diet Dr. Pepper is involved in tonight's episode somehow...


Let's just hope there are no monkeys. That reminds me: Toby Young (below) becomes the newest judge tonight - taking over for GayTed Allen. I hate to jump to conclusions, but Mr. Young looks like a bit of an AssHat - maybe the monkey wouldn't be so bad after all. I'm already upset about losing Gail and her Boobies, so I don't need any shenanigans.


Look for my Top Chef recap tomorrow afternoon. It's been so long since the last one I'm actually looking forward to writing it.

David Dust = 'Lady' Liberty

Have you noticed the fancy NEW HEADER for my blog?! I am STILL giggling like a little girl over how much I love it.

I have been wanting to change the graphics on my blog for a long time, but I just didn't know how to do it. I have tried, but I would end up screwing stuff up - so I just accepted the fact that although my content was FIERCE, the graphics on DavidDust were forever destined to suck ass.

Somehow my darling friend Kathy (aka The Minx) heard my silent cries for bloghelp. And yesterday she sent me an email wondering if I would like something just a little fancier for DavidDust. She thought since I was talking to reality show stars and such, it couldn't hurt to spruce things up a little bit. Kathy is a wiz at photoshop, graphics, etc. - and I eagerly said "yes!!".

She sweetly asked me what I wanted, and I just said I wanted something New York City related. Just make sure the title ("David Dust") is in there, and "Hotties, Recaps, and Gay Stuff" is also included. Other than that, I completely trusted Kathy's judgement and awaited what she came up with.

A little while later, she email me a note..."what about this?":

I SCREAMED at my desk at work (luckily I was by myself). Yes!!!! A THOUSAND TIMES 'YES'!!! This was it - the header I had always dreamed of.

Putting my face on "Lady Liberty" is STILL cracking me up - and the Bunny on the lower, right corner is just absolute perfection. I can't begin to thank The Minx for what she has done - but I'm definitely buying her dinner the next time she is in NYC...
