Kardashians Being Sued Over "QuickTrim" Its A Fraud

Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe have a class action lawsuit over their diet product QuickTrim, which detractors say contains high levels of caffeine, an ingredient that’s “not safe or effective for weight loss.”

Kim and Khloe caused a stir over their paid endorsement of the product, which features a picture of bikini-clad Kim. It has reportedly generated $45 million in revenue since they struck the deal with New Jersey-based Windmill Health Products in 2009.

Law firm Bursor & Fisher is preparing a suit against Windmill and the marketing claims made by the Kardashians. An e-mail it sent to product users included a link to the firm’s Web site, which states, “The active ingredient in QuickTrim weight loss products is a large dose of caffeine. The FDA has determined that caffeine is not safe or effective for weight loss.”

Partner Scott A. Bursor told us, “My firm has been retained by an individual that purchased QuickTrim, and we are investigating the matter. We have provided written notice of our client’s claims to the company and others involved in marketing QuickTrim,” and his firm is reaching out to other QuickTrim users. Bursor & Fisher has won or settled cases against firms peddling products including hair loss remedy Avacor and diet supplement Xenadrine.

Adriane Fugh-Berman, a physician at Georgetown University Medical Center, warned in 2010 that QuickTrim contains large amounts of caffeine. She said, “They’re not saying how much caffeine is in these pills. Too much caffeine can make you jittery and increase your blood pressure and pulse. If you pop a couple of these pills with your Starbucks you could get caffeine poisoning, which can cause heart arrhythmias.” Reps for the Kardashians and Windmill didn’t get back to us.

Busted Another Staged Scripted Kardashian Moment

On a recent episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, a pivotal moment of the was show was when Kim was riding in a car with her mother Kris Jenner, in which she revealed that she was having second thoughts about marrying Kris Humprhies. Shortly after the episode aired, rumors began flying that the conversation was staged after Kim and Kris had already decided to part ways. She definitely wants people to feel sorry for her and make Kris seem like the bad guy.

REALITYTEA.com and Mediatakeout.com

Also In the latest example of the now famous Kardashian staging, cameras captured Humphries proposing to Kardashian in the bedroom of her mansion. In which Kim staged on her own, Kris had wanted to propose to Kim in Minnesota, but he had absolutely no control over how it all went down.

“Kim told Kris how, where and when to propose, it was absolutely no surprise to her whatsoever”, a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“First of all, Kris proposed in the middle of the day, and he had to do that because it would create better lighting to capture the moment. Kim looked so surprised but she knew it was happening,” the source says. “She was in full hair and make-up, as she always is on the show. Kris wanted it to be very intimate and romantic, but all of his ideas were shot down by production officials and Kim.

“Kim told him the paparazzi would ruin the special moment if it were to take place in a public setting, like the beach, which he had also considered. How romantic could it be with three camera crews?”

I think it's time for them to stop living a scripted life on tv and start living a real one? What do you think?

Are We Done Keeping Up With The Kardashians?

Have their 15 minutes finally passed ?

You may not have to keep up with the Kardashians much longer.

Everything the reality family touches turns absolutely toxic with party promoters, magazine editors and television execs all scrambling to blacklist them, insiders told The Post.

Funny how once they attached their name to SEARS, SEARS is now closing  up shop.

Ratings for the family’s reality show have plummeted, sales of magazines with Kim Kardashian’s mug go unsold, and her products are unmarketable, insiders say.

Promoters were giving out thousands of dollars so Kim and sisters Kourtney and Khloe would hit their hot spots. And Kim was once paid $600,000 to spend New Year’s Eve at Tao Las Vegas.
According to some club promoters and publicist, that kind of gwap just isn’t going to be rolling in anymore.

“I’d pay her $600,000 personally not to go to Red Egg,” said Travis Bass, referring to the Chinatown hot spot he co-owns. “Kim Kardashian would be crushing to us. We’d have a meeting Monday and talk about how that happened.”

It seems that the Kardashian brand took a huge hit after Kim and now ex-husband Kris Humphries divorced after only 72 days of marriage. A large majority of people are convinced that the marriage was a sham to begin with and the court of public opinion threw the book at the reality show star AND her family.

E!’s Kardashian TV franchise “Keeping up with the Kardashians” suffered a 14 percent dip in Nielsen ratings, from 3.5 million viewers per episode last season to 3 million this season.

Circulation at Us Weekly, In Touch, Life & Style and OK! dropped about 18 percent when a Kardashian was on the cover in December, publishers said.

Even shoe maker Skechers ditched Kim as the face of the company in 2011 they’ve replaced her with a French bulldog.

To make matters worse Khloe Kardashian’s paternity controversy that has been brewing over the last few days isn’t exactly helping the first family of psuedo-celebrity gain any favor with people.

So what do you think?

A human rights group is investigating claims that workers in China as young as 16  are working in squalid conditions to manufacture merchandise for the K-Dash by Kardashian label, the Kris Jenner Kollection and ShoeDazzle, according to an investigation.

The institute for Global Labour and Human Rights confirmed with TMZ that they have launched an investigation, amidst claims the Kardashians' products are produced in factories wreaking of stench from sewage, with temperatures north of 100 degrees.  An official from the organization told TMZ, conditions in the factories that manufacture Kardashian products are "horrific."

There are also claims the employees work up to 84 hours a week, earning $1 an hour.   The Kardashians rake in approximately $65 million a year.
I think their time is up....

News: Kardashians Don't Want To Help The Less Fortunate

The Kardashian family is threatening to take legal action against a woman who wants to use the family name to sell an eyelash product.

The product is called KardashianLash and the person behind the company named Sarah Ehrlich  just filed a petition to trademark the name.
She just wants to help raise money to send Honduran orphans to cosmetology school but the Kardashians don't want to because it doesn't give them any type of income.

The Kardashians are claiming no one ever asked them for permission and are planning to fight her petition, claiming it's a blatant rip-off of their trademark unless they get paid for it.

News: The Kardashians Vs The Obama's

The Kardashian's say they were completely blindsided when Michelle Obama revealed that Barack doesn't like when their daughters watch their reality show insisting the President has them pegged all wrong.

The Kardashian's are telling friends they read Michelle's new interview with iVillage  in which she said, "Barack really thinks some of the Kardashians when they watch that stuff , he doesn't like that as much."

The Kardashians were "surprised" by the news because Obama personally told Khloe he thought "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" was a "great show" when they met last year.

In fact, the Kardashians believe Sasha and Malia could actually LEARN something from the show because it features girls in real life situations facing real life problems health, relationships..

This is a total fail, would you let your daughters watch the Kardashians? Think about it, Kim is famous for a sextape, Khloe slept with the NBA & NFL, Kourtney and the younger ones seemed more tame but none are role models.
