This Week's Shenanigans

Quick update about this week's blogging schedule:

• A big event at work will keep me from recapping both the season finale of The Fashion Show (airing tonight) as well as this week's episode of Top Chef All Stars. In fact, I probably won't even be able to watch them this week - let alone recap. UPDATE: There will NOT be a new episode of Top Chef All Stars this week - just repeats (thanks All Top Chef!).
• Speaking of not watching, I am without LOGO at my new apartment so I was unable to see the season premiere of RuPaul's Drag Race last night (below) - which truly devastates me. And YES, I know I can watch it online, but with the work stuff I might not have the chance.

• Starting on Friday I'll have a houseguest - DustBunny Kailyn - and on Saturday the Mistress Maddie will be joining us (if she can get over her flu). Needless to say, a trip to The Urge Lounge (AKA "The Urges") is planned so we can support the fine art of the dance and the artistes who practice it. As long as I can scrape up a few crisp dollar bills...

Anywhore, blogging will be hit or miss all week - but I'll definitely try to post a couple times each day.

CA Wine Country - RED ALERT!

Homeland Security has raised the "Drunken Terrorist Threat Level" to RED/SEVERE for California's Wine Country. This is due to a visit by drunk bitches Maddie, the Boy Toy, and Kailyn this afternoon. And GET THIS - KAILYN is driving!! For any of you who attended Drunken Dust Bunny Weekend, you know just how scary that is.

So, if you are in or around California Wine Country - TAKE COVER! Be on the lookout for disheveled bitches with red wine stains on their faces and clothing. THEY ARE DRUNK AND DANGEROUS!!


I imagine their visit will end up exactly like Patsy and Edina's visit to French wine country in Absolutely Fabulous...

UPDATE: I just heard from them a little while ago - they are still alive and (relatively) sober... for now. They also sent me this picture...

Maddie, Kailyn, and the Boy Toy

This goes out to my dear friend Mistress Maddie and her Boy Toy - who are currently in San Francisco. At some point they plan on meeting up with Kailyn to drink some cocktails and find some trouble. This shouldn't be too hard for THAT crew...

Presents From Kailyn!

I am NOT a Monday person. I even postpone going to bed on Sunday night because I know when I'll wake up it'll be Monday morning and time to go to work.

But this week started off a little differently. Waiting for me on my desk on Monday morning was a care package from my girl Kailyn, who lives in the Bay Area. In the box she included a very sweet note, some organic Strawberry Jam, and artist-produced notecards from her recent trip to Filoli (the "Dynasty Mansion"). I was delighted to get a little breath of fresh California air on a dreary NYC Monday morning. Thanks, K!

These items were procured during her recent travels, which Kailyn blogs about (among other things) at Kailyn's Creations - take a look when you get a chance. I also recommend that you check back in a couple of weeks when The Mistress Maddie makes her first visit to Kailyn and the San Francisco area. And don't worry, if there are any earthquakes during that time, it's probably just a drunken Maddie dropping her extra-large glass of Gin!

Sixteen Candles Quiz

I stole this from Dust Bunny Kailyn's BLOG. She took The Ultimate Sixteen Candles Quiz - and managed to get 100% percent. Kailyn obviously has a deep love for the movie - and has seen it many times.

I love that movie too - it is one of my absolute favorites - so I took the quiz and got 100% also!! Kailyn and I need to have some kind of Long Duk Dong Tiebreaker to see who is the Ultimate Sixteen Candles Fan!

How the rest of you do on the quiz?? UPDATE: Everyone seems to get 100% (see comments). Did anyone get LESS than 100%??
