Please Let This Be True, Part II
Rumor has it that Madonna will be performing the halftime show during the Superbowl on February 5th. This, along with the Arrested Development thing, is turning this busy Monday into a pretty damn good day...

To Get To The 2014 Super Bowl ...
... just take Exit 16W off the New Jersey Turnpike and head into the Meadowlands parking lot.
Yep, New York/New Jersey will host the 2014 Super Bowl in an OUTDOOR stadium. Dress warmly...

White Meat Monday - Drew Brees Lathers Up
Some Superbowl champions go to Disney World, but Drew Brees simply hits the showers and lathers up with the help of Dove soap. That works for me...

Superbowl Thoughts...
Adorable! Congratulations to Drew Brees (above - with son Baylen), the Saints, and the great city of New Orleans on their Superbowl win.
OK - I'm gonna go out on a limb right now and say something controversial ... I actually LIKED The Who's halftime show. But then again I am really old and really white - so what did you expect?
Did you watch the game? What did you think? Did you hate The Who like everyone else (besides me)?
Superbowl Sunday - Go Saints!!
It's Superbowl Sunday - which isn't that big of a deal in my world, but to many it's more important than Christmas.
However this year I WILL be paying attention, and I have to root for the Saints. Back when I had some discretionary income, I used to travel to New Orleans every year - and I absolutely loved it. In fact, I would move to New Orleans if I had the chance.
Besides, the Saints are gay rights supporter (and total hottie) Scott Fujita's (above) team. You may remember my post in October about Scott's progressive views - HERE. And here is a cute video about Scott and his upbringing...
"Who dat? Who dat? Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints? Who dat? Who dat?"

Daddy Of The Day - Troy Polamalu

Troy Polamalu will be competing in his second Super Bowl today - playing Safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Polamalu, 27, who is of Samoan decent, was born in California, and attended high school in Oregon - where he excelled at baseball, basketball and football. His Uncle - Aoatoa Polamalu - played Nose Tackle for Penn State when I was a student there in the late 80's.

You'll be able to easily recognize Polamalu on the football field today - Troy will be the one with the gorgeous long hair cascading from under his helmet and blowing wildly in the breeze. Be still my heart.

Tom Colicchio On Super Bowl Telecast

Top Chef Papa Bear Tom Colicchio will be one of the approximately 853 co-hosts of the Super Bowl Pre-Show tomorrow on NBC (along with Keith Olbermann, Matt Lauer, and many others). Tom will be judging a cooking competition between former NFL superstars Tiki Barber and Jerome "The Bus" Bettis.

Project Runway fans might remember Tiki Barber (above) as a guest judge on Season Four. He appeared during the infamous menswear challenge - which my buddy Jack Mackenroth won, and Carmen (like the opera) Webber (like the grill) sent out a shirtless model and was sent home.
Personally, I have always thought that former Pittsburgh Steeler Jerome "The Bus" Bettis was HOT. Look at that rock of a man (above) - I wouldn't mind taking a climb on that mountain. Athough Jerome has never been a Daddy of the Day - like Tiki was.
Maybe during their Super Bowl cook-off, Tiki and The Bus will make a Bacon Man - which I just read about on Dlisted. And YES, I realize this is my second bacon post in two days...

Mmmmmm ... BACON ...

Superbowl Daddy Of The Day - Will Demps

Will Demps no longer plays for the New York Giants - which means he won't be playing in Sunday's Superbowl. However, he can take pride in the fact that he is DavidDust's first ever Superbowl Daddy Of The Day - THAT should make him feel a little better about missing the big game.
When gorgeous Will isn't on the field, he does some modeling on the side (you can see why!). Find out more about him here.
