Katy Perry Disses Beyonce

Katy Perry spoke to BBC Radio and discussed her upcoming collaboration with her best friend Rihanna:

"We’ve collaborated on a lot of things, but just not songs yet. It’s one of those things that’s got so much build up that we have to deliver. I want it to be like that Eurythmics and Aretha Franklin song “Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves,” not what Beyonce and Shakira did with “Beautiful Liar.”

But I definitely want to do something that is so iconic. Rihanna’s kind of busy too. We’re both busy but we planted the seed two years ago. How disappointed would you be if that song came out and it’s no good? Sometimes you have to wait for greatness."

Russell Brand Doesn't Want Katy Perry's Money

Russell Brand is entitled to  $20 million of Katy Perry's fortune but he will not take a single penny of it.

Russell's lawyer filed final divorce papers Tuesday although the judge will make the divorce official on June 30, because there's a 6 month waiting period.

Russell and Katy did NOT have a prenup.  As a result, everything they earned during their 14-month marriage is community property which means they're each entitled to 50% of the pot.

Katy made $44 million according to Forbes.  The couple married in October, 2010, so Russell could have scored a fortune if he exercised his community property rights. 

This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a a good person. He doesn't want Katy's money.  He's happy to walk away with the money he earned which is far less than what Katy raked in.

News: Russell Brand Divorces Katy Perry

The skinny girl jean wearing gay Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry.

In the docs, filed in L.A., Brand cites "irreconcilable differences." The two were married Oct. 23, 2010 in India.  They have no kids.

The divorce docs say there are "community property assets" The docs do not give a date the couple separated.

Russell has released a statement, claiming, "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."

Although it's not 100%, based on what we now know it appears Brand may have blindsided Perry by filing the divorce petition.

Russell who jokes about his little penis and being gay might have been cheating on Katy the whole time they were married.

According to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper Kelis said, “Katy Perry is crap. It’s just poor pop. Her name might be on her stuff but that doesn’t mean it’s any good.”

Back in June, Katy Perry was closing in on Michael Jackson's record for the most #1 singles from the same album and now she's tied it up. Thanks to the feel-good party jam "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)," Perry has the same number of #1 singles from Teenage Dream on the Hot 100 as the late King of Pop did from 1987's Bad.

Now, Perry is both the only woman with five #1 singles from the same album and also the only living artist with that record. So what singles got her there aside from "Last Friday Night"? Perry's previous #1's from Teenage Dream are "California Gurls," "Teenage Dream," "Firework" and "E.T." Jackson achieved this feat back in 1987 and 1988 with "I Just Can't Stop Loving You," "Bad," "The Way You Make Me Feel," "Man in the Mirror" and "Dirty Diana" from his Bad album.

Go Katy just please don't dance anymore in your videos or live performances.

Pop Singer Katy Perry has been denounced by her own parents because her hit single - I Kissed A Girl - "promotes homosexuality".

Mrs Hudson said: 'We hate it. It promotes homosexuality, which the Bible clearly states is a sin, and it is shameful and disgusting. When it comes on I bow my head and pray. She is our daughter and we love her and can't cut her out of our lives. But we strongly disagree with how she is conducting herself and she knows how disappointed we are. Katy is not a homosexual and has just been led astray by Hollywood. She changed when she went to LA and is going through a period of rebellion. She's told me, 'Oh Mum, I'm not going to turn into Amy Winehouse,' but I pray all the time God will help her find salvation."
