I'm not sure if he still does or not - but "Cuba" used to dance at the Times Square cha-cha palace - Escuelita. He was also the first runner-up in the Mr. Escuelita Contest I attended (and got blind drunk at) a few years ago.

Escuelita Go-Go Of The Year Contest

Legendary Times Square Latin club Escuelita held its Go-Go Of The Year Contest over Thanksgiving weekend. And since I was in Pennsylvania for the holiday, I didn't get to witness the hotness in person. Color me sad ... :(

And the winner is ... "Shadow"...

Wanna Hang With Some Dust Bunnies?

The next Drunken Dust Bunny Weekend is less than a week away, and if you are in the NYC area you should consider hanging out with us. This gathering will be a much more intimate affair, as many of the attendees from the first DDBW cannot make it this time. But some hardcore Bunnies will be representing, and you should plan on joining us.

Here is the schedule. Friday night (10/23) - Urge Lounge (AKA "The Urges") - 11 pm...

Urge is a TON of fun - with nice bartenders and a bunch of sexy go-go guys dancing on the bar. There is no cover to get in (bring I.D.) - just the cost of drinks and tips for the dancing beauties.

Urge is located in the East Village at 32 2nd Avenue (between 1st and 2nd Streets).

Saturday night (10/24). Pre-festivities private party (email me for details) - followed by the legendary Escuelita club at midnight.

Escuelita has been in Times Square forever - and the Latin papis and drag queen mamis still flock to this club. There is always SOMETHING going on, and the drag show is always a lot of fun...

Escuelita is located at 301 W. 39th Street (off of 8th Avenue)

Boy Ginger has confirmed for Drunken Dust Bunny Weekend!!!...

BTW - it would be nice if the Biatch showed up with some delicious Roast Beef since it's so hard to find around here - is all I'm saying. Anywhore, there is a rumor flying around that Boy Ginger just MIGHT be bringing along the Fabulous Miss Ginger Grant for a Saturday night appearance!!!...

So, for now it looks like we're headed to The Urges on Friday night, and then a trip to the famed Times Square show bar/disco Escuelita on Saturday. And, of course, our traditional trip to the Bronx Zoo during the day - which we never manage to do because of our hangovers. But maybe this time...

Drunken Dust Bunny Weekend Fast Approaching!

DDBW II is just a couple of weeks away ... and we've just had another confirmation. Marker will be attending!...

Marker is the shirtless stud in the middle - the one hitting on my future ex-husband - Francois S (left). Remind me to have a discussion with Marker regarding this indescretion.

The only plan so far is that we will all be meeting at "The Urges" to fondle go-go's on Friday (Oct. 23). If you live in/near NYC - plan on joining us. The rest of the schedule will be determined in the near future. Possibilities for Saturday night include maybe hitting up Escuelita for the Drag Show and Papis, or maybe finishing the West Village Bar Tour we attempted during DDBW I.

Ninth Avenue International Food Festival

This was a huge weekend in Hell's Kitchen (my neighborhood), because it was Food Festival Weekend! My fat ass starts looking forward to the Ninth Avenue International Food Festival starting in about January - and by the time it rolls around in May, I am HONGRAY!

Picture this - 20 blocks of non-stop food and sometimes shirtless hot Papis - all literally right outside my door. Up until about 15-20 years ago, Hell's Kitchen was predominantly Puerto Rican, with some Irish thrown in. Gentrification has forced most of the old residents out - but many return for the food festival, and they seem to want to remove their shirts solely for my pleasure. God bless 'em!!

This year wasn't quite hot enough for shirtlessness, but I DID see one hot Papi who has been featured on DavidDust before - Escuelita go-go dancer Alex. He was looking F-I-N-E, as always. And no, I did not take any pictures of him on the street, that would be TACKY. So please enjoy these entirely tasteful half-naked shots of him that I dug up!

Go-Go Wednesday - Salute to Escuelita

Escuelita is probably my fave club in NYC. The drag shows are FIERCE, the Go-Go Papis are FLAWLESS. And the gorgeous bartenders recognize a good tipper - and make sure us good tippers are good and DRUNK.

The boys from the pics above are all current or former Escuelita go-go dancers. The highlight of the year for these boys is the "Mr. Escuelita" competition, held every July. Let me tell you - these Papis put on a SHOW for the opportunity to win the coveted title of "Mr. Escuelita"!

Alex is a go-go dancer at one of my favorite NYC clubs - Escuelita. According to the Best Friend, he also competed in the annual "Mr. Escuelita" contest. I should know - I was there - but apparently I was a little bit drunk...
