DMX Sued For $630,000 Over Tour

DMX is being sued for $630,000 by a booking agency.

A company called Heavy Rotation filed the lawsuit in New York, claiming it struck an exclusive year long deal with DMX in 2011 to book the rapper's concerts.

But according to the lawsuit, DMX was plagued with legal problems from the start a traffic violation in August, and two nasty child support disputes which led to a lien on the rapper's passport, preventing him from performing overseas.

According to the suit, HR bent over backwards to fix the legal issues coughing up nearly a hundred grand to cover bail, child support, and a slew of other legal bills hoping it would clear the way for the tour, a task that included lifting the lien on Dmx's passport.

But HR claims its efforts were in vain because DMX continued to cause problems, hiring outside management that tried to book DMX on shows within the United States violating X's agreement with HR. On top of that, DMX couldn't resolve his passport issues and all concerts had to be canceled.

DMX's rep says he chose to sever all ties with HR after it put the rapper at risk with some unsavory business practices.

Still, HR claims it lost $749,285 on the deal gone bad and it wants the money back.

DMX Goes In On Drake, Rick Ross, & Jay-Z

DMX never holds back, and during an interview on New York's Power 105, the Dog spoke his mind freely. X, who is performing a homecoming concert Thursday night in New York, spoke with the Breakfast Club personalities, Angela Yee, DJ Envy and Charlamagne, opening up about his career and giving his take on some of rap's newest stars.

The Dog let loose his collaboration with MTV's 2011 Hottest Breakthrough MC Machine Gun Kelly on "I Don't Dance." While Dark Man X praised MGK, saying that he was better than 80 percent of the rappers today, he wasn't as impressed with Drake. When asked if he liked Drake, X responded, "No," without any hesitation. "I don't like anything about Drake," he stated freely. "I don't like his fucking voice; I don't like the shit he talks about; I don't like his face; I don't like the way he walks. Nothing. I don't like his haircut."

It didn't seem that DMX had a personal problem with the Young Money standout, but Drake clearly isn't his cup of tea. Neither is Rick Ross. "I'm just not impressed, man," he said when asked about his opinion on Rick's lyrical prowess.

X also went on to reveal that he turned down a deal with Ross' Maybach Music Group. He received interest from the label while he was in prison last year, but he didn't think MMG was a good fit. "I appreciated the offer, but I really couldn't see it happening like that," he said.

DMX is getting ready to release his next LP, "Undisputed", sometime this year, though he wouldn't commit to the rumored March date. In his new record deal, all X says he's looking for is the proper promotion and creative control. It's a push that he didn't feel he got during his last few years on Def Jam when his former Murda Inc. rhyming partner Jay-Z was the company's president. "When he first got the job he gave me a call like, 'Yo Dog the inmates are running the building, we good,' " he said of a conversation that took place between him and Jay some years ago as DMX was prepping his sixth album for the label.

In DMX's mind, his former collaborator felt threatened by the onetime rap superstar. "How do you listen to a whole album, pick a single, shoot a video, then don't know," X questioned about Jay's presidential motives at the time. "OK, I see what's really good; you're trying to eliminate the competition."

DMX Owes $1 Million In Child Support

DMX has been accused of owing more than $1 million in back child support but TMZ learned.
The rapper isn't convinced the woman gave birth to his child.
Patricia Trejo, was in L.A. Superior Court arguing against a motion DMX filed in their ongoing paternity case in which the rapper asked the court for permission to perform in Europe.
In paternity cases where significant child support is owed, the owing parent is prohibited from obtaining a passport without a court order and DMX requested one.
Patricia claims DMX owes $1 million in unpaid child support, going back to her daughter’s birth over ten years ago and she was tired of waiting around.
DMX wants a DNA test to prove paternity before he starts handing over cash. Can we see this play out on Maury please?

Ruff Ryders are getting back together.

DMX told TMZ a blowout reunion tour is already in the works.
The tour is supposed to kick off in a few months and DMX says the entire crew's already on board, including Swizz Beats, Drag-On, and Murda-Mook.

According to DMX, Eve and The L.O.X. haven't signed on yet but that's just because he hasn't gotten in touch with them yet. X insists, that will change very soon.

New Music Album: Waka Flocka "Triple F Life"

Since the success of his "Flockavelli" album Gucci Mane's protégé has been busy assembling his sophomore album, "Triple F Life," and calling the shots for his imprint, Brick Squad Monopoly.

Flocka's inspiration for his upcoming album are his most loyal supporters: "friends, fans and family." "You see how evil people act for money so I'm doing this for friends, fans, and family," he said.

"It felt like a rushed project. I'm going to do it first quarter because I need to put my all into it," Waka Flocka continued on his recently pushed back album, "Triple F Life." "I felt like I was trying to please the label and not the people that really listen to the music."

Differing from "Flockavelli," which Waka says "was to put my artists on," Waka enlists A-list collaborators on his sophomore effort. The album's lead single, "Round Of Applause," a track "hidden in the dungeon" since the "Flockavelli" sessions, was given new life when Drake jumped on it. "I said, 'Who do I need on the song to get some ladies into it?' Let me call Drake! I met him through the engineer, we put that track together, and that was it."

Flocka also hinted at another breakthrough guest spot on his upcoming album: DMX. "I'm trying to put a song together with DMX; he needs to get back on the scene!"

Aside from "Triple F Life," Flocka is releasing a collaborative album with French Montana, titled "Lock Out."

Waka Flocka offered a bold prediction for the new year. "I'm gonna be the No. 1 artist of the year. That's not a prediction, that's a fact!" he proclaimed. What do you think?
