Earlier this morning, The Tom Joyner Morning Show held a phone interview with Jackie Christie from VH1′s Basketball Wives L.A.. When asked how she was doing, Jackie replied by saying that she just found out that her mother lost the battle to cancer a couple of hours ago.
VH1′s "Basketball Wives LA" is currently in it’s first season. Jackie’s mother was seen on the second episode having a conversation with Jackie and her sister about the current state of her health at the time.
Also in the interview, Jackie was asked if her mother was able to make the wedding, especially since that was apart of her mother’s wishes and she answered: “Yes she will be on there tonight, I am very thankful for VH1 making that happen for her…”
