You should see the look MY faucet gives me when I get in the shower. It can only be described as a cross between "Horror" and "Morbid Curiosity"...

Afternoon Dance Break - Your Loving Arms
Billy Ray Martin's Your Loving Arms was HUGE in the mid-nineties, and the queens at the Roxy went nuts every time the DJ played it.
My Evening With Jesse Tyler Ferguson
I think Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson (above) was stalking me this week ...
On Wednesday night while walking home I passed him on 8th Avenue. He looks exactly like he does on television (unlike some other actors), and you can see that bright red hair/beard a block away. Jesse was wearing ear buds and minding his own business, and of course no one bothered him (we're cool like that in NYC).
Then, after I got home, I turned on the television and there was Jesse again - on Modern Family. And, later, the cast of Modern Family made an appearance on Top Chef Masters - and I saw Jesse again. STALKER!!!
Seriously Jesse - don't make me call the authorities...

Be Back Soon
Oy. I got an email from Blogger instructing me to clear up some issues or I wouldn't be able to keep the advertisements on my blog. So I've literally been going through my 4,000+ blog posts to insure that none are violating any rules. Unsurprisingly, this process is taking me forever - and I only have 72 hours to complete it - so there will be no new posting until this gets done.
Afternoon Disco Break - Tribute to Studio 54
NYC's legendary disco Studio 54 opened exactly 33 years ago this week - and people are STILL talking about it. Studio (along with Paradise Garage and The Saint) is one of those clubs I wish I'd been able to experience first-hand. After all, rubbing shoulders with Liza, Andy and Bianca would have been awesome...
Actually, I WAS able to see to Studio 54 once. In the mid-90's it re-opened briefly as a nightclub before becoming a full-time Broadway theater. I checked it out on Gay Night (the club is literally 2 blocks away from my apartment) - but it wasn't very exciting. After a few weeks the nightclub shut down for good.
The venue is now the home of the Roundabout Theatre Company.

Featured Model - Francisco
Baby-faced Francisco, 29, does some modeling, but he is perhaps best know for dancing in the hottest clubs in NYC.
Boycott Arizona!
I hope SOMEONE is organizing an economic boycott of Arizona in response to that state's new racist "Show Me Your Papers" law. As mentioned last night on Keith Olbermann's show, Arizona was the last state to adopt Martin Luther King Jr. Day as a holiday - and only did so after losing tons of money due to boycotts. Boycotts work.
YES, it sucks to punish the residents of Arizona for the racism of their (Republican) leaders - but maybe they'll think twice next time before voting for these radicals.
America's Next Drag Superstar - Tyra Sanchez
When did she get those boobies?!?
Congratulations to Tyra Sanchez for winning Season 2 of RuPaul's Drag Race last night. I thought Raven would win, but based on what we saw during the finale it's hard to disagree with the judge's decision.
Did you watch last night? What did you think of the outcome?
Constant Carb Craving - Biscuits & Gravy
OMG - Someone PLEASE put this Bob Evans Biscuit-In-A-Bowl and Sausage Gravy Dispenser in my Break Room! And YES, it is REAL.

Afternoon Dance Break: Love Changes
If you ever had the pleasure of experiencing the old Sound Factory on 27th Street (above), chances are you heard DJ Junior Vasquez spinning this song by MK (featuring Alana) - Love Changes.
