QVC held a star-studded party at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, where Kimora Lee Simmons told BET all about her new skin care line, Shinto Clinical.
“It’s East meets West, and for women of every color," said Kimora, whose products blend Asian ingredients like kelp, seaweed, and antioxidant Omegapearl-18 with Western science. “It’s all scientifically tested to be in the beauty category at QVC, it takes a lot,” she noted, adding that she was inspired by the way her mother and grandmother cared for their skin, and ate an antioxidant-rich diet. Her Smooth Answer anti-wrinkle moisture boost cream will launch exclusively at QVC, while the rest of the collection will follow at shintoclinical.com starting March 1.
“For me, beauty starts with a great skin care regimen,” said Simmons. “It’s not what you put on after the fact, like makeup, but how you maintain what you’ve got. I like to put Smooth Answer on as a base that moisturizes and serves as a barrier against pollution.”
BET's annual fashion and music show, 'Rip the Runway,' is right around the corner and promises a star studded show with notable performances and guest appearances.
Performances by Estelle and Lil' Kim headline while B.o.B., Wale, Diggy Simmons, Jeremih, and Meek Mill will all hit the stage.

This year, 'Rip the Runway' will focus on more than just five designers. Expect a variety of segments portraying both couture and casual, and a platform showing viewers how to mix both. 'Rip the Runway' will air on BET March 21st at 10 pm (EST).
Jim Jones was involved in a crazy brawl last night in Connecticut which resulted in him getting arrested, but not before it took five cops and a little bit of mace to subdue him TMZ learned.
The rapper was walking through the casino after a party hosted by Diddy at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods. A drunk loser came up to Jones and started talking shit to him, which Jones tried to ignore.
The guy then hit Jones in the face and Jones fought back in self defense. Then the guy's friends jumped in then Jim's people jumped in it was a big brawl. Jones was arrested and it took 5 cops and mace to bring him in. He has since bonded out and is headed back home soon.
Rapper Juvenile is a wanted man in Louisiana facing 90 days in prison for screwing over his childs mother. The judge has now ordered that he be arrested on sight.
According to court papers obtained by TMZ the former Cash Money Records rapper whose real name is Terius Gray owes more than $160,000 in unpaid child support to Dionne Williams, the mother of his 13-year-old son.
He hasn't paid since December 2006.
In a new interview, Andre 3000, one half of hip-hop duo OutKast, says that there is no new music from him and Big Boi in the works.
"There's been a lot of talk on the Internet about an OutKast album and I have to say that as of now, there are no plans for another OutKast album," the rapper tells GQ. The duo's last proper album was 2006's "Idlewild," and while Big Boi released a solo album, "Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty," in 2010, Andre 3000 has spent the downtime lending guest verses to artists like Ke$ha, Drake and B.o.B.
"As far as OutKast, I really don't know if or when that will happen."
