Thoughts on the Super Bowl...

What did my Dust Bunnies think of the Big Game? All-in-all, I thought it was an excellent and entertaining game and telecast.

  • First of all, did anyone see the pre-game cooking segment with Tom Colicchio? When I saw Andrew and Spike (below) I changed channels. For the record, Antonia and Richard were also there, but that wasn't enough to hold my interest. Anyone know who won?
  • Did anyone else notice the Toyota Tundra commercial that kept talking about "trannies"? It took me a minute to figure out they were discussing TRANSMISSIONS. I thought they had finally developed a vehicle for Drag Queens.
  • That 100-yard run that ended the first half was incredible. Kudos to Pittsburgh's James Harrison (below) for the longest run in Super Bowl history.
  • I'm not a huge Springsteen fan, but Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band should do the Super Bowl half-time show every single year. THEY are what stadium rock is all about. Fantastic.
  • Finally, one naughty treat for you horny bitches. Game-winning Pittsburgh receiver Santonio Holmes has a nekkid picture out there. Click HERE if you would like to see the (impressive) goods. NSFW, natch.

In Honor of the Big Game

Long live The Queen...

Congratulations, Papi!

Rafael Nadal won the Australian Open today after beating his friendly rival - Roger Federer - in another epic match. Which is the perfect opportunity for me to post a couple of cute pictures I had laying around...

And in case you missed it, I posted pictures of Nadal chillin' on a boat and showing his cute ass a few months ago. You're welcome.

Tool Academy - TONIGHT

The Super Bowl isn't the only important thing on TV tonight - Tool Academy airs on VH1 at 10:00 pm (EST). The game should be pretty much decided by then - so if you're sober enough switch over to VH1 and bask in the douchiness.

Here is the description of tonight's episode:
Episode: Maturity. The remaining Tools try to prove they are husband material: Trina suspects a girlfriend is the blame.

Remember, Trina is the "therapist" who is in charge of evaluating and providing guidance to the Tools and their girlfriend. While watching, please ignore the fact that "Trina" is the name of a truckstop hooker, not a mental health professional. It helps.

Daddy Of The Day - Troy Polamalu

Troy Polamalu will be competing in his second Super Bowl today - playing Safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Polamalu, 27, who is of Samoan decent, was born in California, and attended high school in Oregon - where he excelled at baseball, basketball and football. His Uncle - Aoatoa Polamalu - played Nose Tackle for Penn State when I was a student there in the late 80's.

You'll be able to easily recognize Polamalu on the football field today - Troy will be the one with the gorgeous long hair cascading from under his helmet and blowing wildly in the breeze. Be still my heart.
