Usher & Tameka Raymond Back In Court
Usher and our good friend Tameka Raymond were in an Atlanta courthouse trying to settle and come to some type of agreement, and if they can't the judge is going to lay down the law.
The judge ordered the couple to try and hash out a temporary custody agreement in private mediation.
If they dont work something out he'll impose a temporary order, deciding how Usher and Tameka will split their time with their kids.
The order will also address child support.
Tameka wants full custody, the couple currently shares custody. Tameka is a great mother, and knows what's best for her kids. Tired of the press trying to paint the picture of her being the villan.

After 15 years of dominating popular music, Usher still knows how to think ahead of the game without losing himself, his fans, or his quality of music. Usher had a listening event for his upcoming seventh studio album, "Looking For Myself," at NYC's Daryl Roth Theater.

The R&B singer took full advantage of this experience to get personal with his fans, as the tracks for his new album acted as the soundtrack for the evening.

New Music Album: Usher "Looking For Myself"
With the release of his new single "Climax," Usher gears up to release his seventh studio album, "Looking For Myself"
It will feature production from Salaam Remi, Rico Love, Jim Jonsin and Max Martin.
The album has been in the works since at least last summer, when producer Rico Love, who got his start on Usher's classic album "Confessions", mentioned in an interview with BET.com that he'd just begun studio sessions for the upcoming project.
Another collaborator, Taio Cruz, spoke with MTV about what can be expected from the project. "He has very specific ideas of where he wants to go musically and sound-wise," he said. "He always wants there to be the soul in there. I'm kind of, not the opposite, but I'm always like, 'Let's get straight to the point and be really clear with the message and be simple." So we try to match those two worlds together: being soulful and, at the same time, catchy."
The album is set for release June 11.

News: Does Usher Needs Parenting Skills?
Bossip.com reached out to Tameka Raymond to respond to the rumors and allegations and she was able to shed some light on several things.
First, the “Saks card” that was mentioned in the initial TMZ reports about their custody dispute is not a CREDIT CARD. Tameka confirmed to Bossip that she was upset because Usher assured her she would be able to maintain use of their Saks VIP benefits card, a special members perk that she used to purchase things for their children which in turn saves him money. Usage of the card was part of their divorce settlement, it doesn’t cost him any money, it’s just a card Saks extends to their VIP customers, and Tameka can use cash, AMEX or any other kind of tender and receive a 25% discount. Tameka confirmed to BOSSIP this is what she meant by “she can no longer enjoy the benefits of the card.” So it’s not even like she has a revolving credit card and is charging it up and he’s paying the bill! Usher just decided to be spiteful and remove Tameka from the card.
Also Last Saturday it was Cinco’s birthday and Tameka held a party for him at her business. The party was held from 3pm-6pm and Usher was scheduled to pick up Cinco at 6pm and keep him until 8pm, however, when he arrived at 6:02 pm the party was still in full swing and Cinco hadn’t even opened his gifts. Instead of acting like a mature co-parent and coming inside to wait while his son finished celebrating with his guests, Usher refused to come inside and demanded Tameka bring Cinco to him. To add further insult to injury, when Usher brought Cinco home at 8pm he brought his current girlfriend Grace Miguel with him the woman he cheated on Tameka with to the home he and Tameka used to share. Tameka confirmed this happened Thanksgiving weekend, when she had a house full of family visiting from out of town.
Looks like Usher is very immature, and is in need of a parenting class and also do that drug test. What do you think?

News: Usher Vs. Tameka Raymond
It is sad how the media makes it even harder for two people in the entertainment business to be parent's let alone co-parents.
The custody battle between Usher Raymond and Tameka Foster, is turning to war according to media sources.
Now the rumor is stating that Tameka had Usher submit to drug testing after she alleged he was “in delirium” during a January concert in Germany.
In January the R&B singer tried to obtain sole custody of their two sons. Usher filed the motion after he asked to take the kids on his world tour and Tameka refused. She then fired back a response to Usher’s request, saying that her ex-husband had violated several provisions in their custody agreement.
Again none of this is our business, but it seems like Usher is trying to show the world that he's the good guy and making Tameka look like the bad one in the situation. In reality, Usher is the villain.
What is your take on this?

News: Tameka Raymond Is Taking Usher To Court
Tameka Raymond is a friend of ours, we normally wouldn't publish anything until its 100% proven fact but Usher is trying to portray himself in the public as a great father, but he's blown off his legal obligations as a co-parent.
TMZ is reporting that Tameka Raymond has filed court papers in Georgia, asking a judge to strip Usher of joint physical custody of their children ASAP.
According to the documents, Tameka claims Usher has repeatedly failed to obtain her permission to travel outside the state with the kids which he's legally obligated to do among other things.
Tameka is a wonderful mother, caring, giving and just an inspiration to many. So when TMZ stated she's upset that Usher closed her Saks 5th Avenue credit card, we're going to go ahead and say this is a rumor until the words come directly from Tameka. She is not petty like that and is just trying to live a drama free life.
A hearing on the matter is scheduled for Wednesday. Stay tuned ...as the story develops we will keep you posted.

News: Usher's Brother Arrested For Domestic Violence
Still trying to find out if this is a rumor or not, you know how mediatakeout is?
R&B superstar Usher's brother was arrested a few weeks ago. He was charged with beating his child's mother and abusing the child.
They had to remove James Lackey from his home and put him in jail. When the police arrived in the home, they found enough evidence to charge James with Child Cruelty and Criminal Battery.

News: Usher Sued For Stealing "Burn"
A songwriter by the name of Ernest Lee Straughter won a ruling from a California federal judge last month after alleging that "Burn" was copied from his 1998 song "The Reasons Why." The case is now on track to go before a jury. Previously, a musicologist determined that there was enough similarity between the two songs for Straughter's allegations to have some merit.
It's "Burn"'s instrumental track, and not the lyrics, that is said to have used elements of Straughter's work.
Usher, Jermaine Dupri, EMI April Music, Sony Music, Arista Records and others are all listed as defendants in the case, according to The Hollywood Reporter. For Straughter to win the suit, a jury must decide both that there is substantial similarity between the songs and that Usher and his team had access to the plaintiff's work.
"The Reason's Why" was released by the group Reel Tight in 1998 as "No More Pain" from their album Back to the Real. For a single week, the album reached 197 on the Billboard Top 200, which Judge Christina Snyder ruled was evidence of "wide dissemination," making it possible that the defendants could have heard the song. Reel Tight was also discovered by Warren G, a friend to some of the defendants.
Usher's lawyer's argue that these connections are bogus, and are currently trying to get the case dismissed.
“The fact that the song had virtually no radio airplay forecloses any inference that it was widely disseminated, let alone remotely popular,” the defendants said.
If Judge Snyder rejects their argument, it will be up to a jury to hear both songs and decide for themselves
