News: Soulja Boy Sues Manager

Soulja Boy filed the documents in Georgia Superior Court, claiming his manager/lawyer Philip Ransom coerced him into signing multiple contracts when he was just starting out ,contracts that were "unconscionable, oppressive, and unjust."

According to the docs, the contracts included a management agreement that gave Ransom 5% of Soulja's income forever relating to work the rapper completed while Ransom was his manager.

Another contract allegedly gave 50% of all Soulja's music copyrights to his record label ,a deal the rapper now claims is  "commercially unreasonable" and "contrary to music industry custom and practice."

But in reality, Soulja's just bitching because he didn't read the fine print, and his case will probably get thrown out of court. People are saying he's running out of money and his income isn't coming in like it used too.

News: Soulja Boy Served With Eviction Notice

Soulja Boy has had a rough year and to top things off he's been served with an eviction notice.  Soulja Boy's 2011 has included lying about being able to afford and buying a private jet, pissing off the military, he got arrested for carrying a gun and now DeAndre Way has not paid his November rent for his house in Atlanta. His rent is $4,725 and he hasn't paid it so he's been served with eviction papers. Soulja Boy has until December 5 to pay up, or gets thrown out.

News: Soulja Boy Claims Other Rappers Copy His Style

In an interview with Billboard, rapper Soulja Boy revealed an upcoming collaboration with Drake and other popular rappers. He also claimed that hip-hop artists are copying his style and making it harder for him to get recognition. 


" Me and Drizzy. We definitely going to drop something. Definitely Busta Rhymes, Lil B," Soulja Boy said. "I mean there's artists out there, but its like, shit got dry in the last few years. Niggas be trying to sound like me and shit. I listen to a hit, its like 'Okay it's a hit, but it sounds like me.'"




"Every time I do something they copy it," he said about the competition. "I mean its cool, it makes me bigger and shit. But it's just like… Once you do so much copying, I can't do me then."


His last album, The DeAndre Way, failed to impress with a debut on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart at No. 18 and only dropping from there. His next album will drop in early 2012.


"I just want to find a way to make music better and be innovative. I'm confident. I'm very confident," Soulja Boy said. "If I got to be the Steve Jobs of the fuckin' music industry then so be it."

News: Soulja Boy Arrested For Drugs

Soulja Boy was arrested early this morning in Georiga.

He was riding in an Escalade with 4 other men, which was originally pulled over for a traffic violation.
Officers also found drugs, guns and $70,000 in cash inside the car though it's unclear if any of the men had the proper licenses to be in possession of the firearms. 

 Law enforcement told TMZ, all 5 men were arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

News: Soulja Boy Has A Sex Tape?

MediaTakeOut.com obtained some footage from the new "Soulja Boy Sextape" being shopped around to media companies. The video was taken by a 23 year old young lady using her laptop camera.
You see, the young lady set up her laptop on the dresser, turned on the camera, and recorded an entire session.
The session included the young lady getting it in by Soulja boy and one of his body guards (at the same time), and it also reportedly showed Soulja Boy engaging in drug use.
They are close to finalizing a deal for the footage

News: State Of California Sues Soulja Boy

Good thing that $55 million jet plane story was a joke that Soulja Boy played on everyone but now the 21-year old rapper owes $26 million in back taxes.

The State of California filed a $26,805 tax lien against him March 24, 2011. He also owed $3,571 in back taxes to the State of Mississippi, but paid the full amount July 22.

And his Georgia home was foreclosed last year, but he still made it onto Forbes' list of hip hop's top earners in 2010 at No. 18 with a cool $6 million.

News: Soulja Boy Buys A $55 Million Private Jet

According to TMZ, Soulja Boy bought a private jet.

The 21-year-old rapper is dropping $55 MILLION on a new private jet.

He bought himself a G5 jet as a birthday present to himself this week.

The jet cost $35 million but he paid $20 million more for upgrades 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, 4 liquor bars, a special tiled floor, a Brazilian hardwood cabinets a huge bathroom, and giving the jet a custom paint job to include his logo.
