Elsewhere on the internet I read that model Omarius, 22, is a half-Egyptian half-German former Marine - but this is unconfirmed. What IS confirmed is the fact that Omarius lives in Astoria, Queens - which also happens to be the neighborhood where a certain Blogger resides. Said Blogger will be keeping his eyes peeled for possible Omarius sightings from now on ...

Yes You CAN Hold It Against Me ...

A group of Marines in Afghanistan WERK Britney Spear's Hold It Against Me in this viral video. A couple of thoughts:

• There are some extremely gorgeous people in this video - including the women. Actually, ESPECIALLY the women. The female Marine at the 1:20 mark could hold it against me any time she wanted. SRSLY.
• The military should hire whoever put this together and place them in charge of recruitment videos. These brave kids make the war in Afghanistan look fun - not an easy task.
• Britney should hire the entire cast to do EVERY video for EVERY song she ever releases. FOREVER.
• Britney has seen the video, btw, and loves it.
• Lastly - did I mention HOT, BRAVE MARINES?!?

Kittehs + Marines = Caturday Cuteness

A rare "news" story from I Can Has Cheezburger:

Kittehs Kiki and Keykey have found a home in the midst of war. And it’s all thanks to three US Marines: Brian Chambers, Chris Berry and Aaron Shaw. They started a mission to help find homes for stray cats that they found while serving in Afghanistan. After finding Keykey injured by a c-wire, Berry took care of his wounds and nursed him back to health and the two of them have been best friends every since.

And now Keykey is living with Berry’s parents in Michigan while Kiki is living with Chambers’ parents in Texas and both are enjoying their new loving homes! Those Marines are definitely heroes in our book as is also the group of Royal Marines that started the organization called Nowzad in 2007. This organization rescues stray and abandoned animals in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Featured Model/Actor - Andrew McLaren

Andrew McLaren is a former U.S. Marine Corp Sergeant and an Iraqi War veteran. He is also a model, an actor, and recently co-hosted "Weaponizers" on the Discovery Channel (think BattleBots with real cars and guns). According to DNAmagazine.com, McLaren has a new project in the works called Commando Nanny in which... 

He helps families improve their fitness, healthy eating patterns, educational goals and overall happiness. He tells DNA he loves kids and wants to pay special attention to helping "struggling children who might be bullied, overweight or lack self-esteem".

Sounds like a stand-up guy to me.
