Can You Find THE HAT?

As you can imagine, without even thinking about it I immediately zoomed onto THE ONE TRUE HAT. Long may it reign.

If you zoom in close enough, you can see where the various photos were digitally spliced together - creating little image warbles. For instance, if you look at Aretha and THE HAT, you will see that their fabulousness wiped out the top half of Rick Warren's fat head. Fierce.


THE HAT is very powerful and must not be angered by homophobic gasbag "Ministers" ...

Inauguration Headcount & FREE HISTORIC STUFF!

The Washington, D.C. police say that 1.8 million people attended (or attempted to attend) the Inauguration of President Obama. Other estimates vary, but whatever the number actually was, it was a HUGE crowd.

The picture above is from Popular Science (click to enlarge). The brown things that look like swarms of bees are actually thousands of people. Pretty cool.

OK, now for the free historic stuff. I am giving away two historic copies of the New York Times to one random commenter on this post. The two newspapers are the election edition and the inauguration edition - and are great keepsakes of our historic new President. Please note that the newspapers are NOT in pristine condition - I DID read them, after all - but they would be something worth saving.

UPDATE: The Right Wing is NOT happy today. Michelle Malkin - one of the leading voices/bloggers in Wingnutistan, has a blog post entitled "Obamamedia Orgy Watch". Her crazy commenters are going bonkers in response to the inauguration of our new President. Here is one of my favorites:

Puke. Liberals have already succeeded in undermining the foundations of this country. The tide is overwhelming and the descent in American power and prosperity will now accelerate. Some may realize their mistake but it will be too late. We are so screwed.
