Rah Digga Goes In On Tyler The Creator
Rap veteran Rah Digga handed out one of the more vicious microphone fades heard in some time with the track “The Nigga In Me” in where she manhandles rapper Fat Trel and popular Odd Future honcho Tyler, The Creator. Although the track sparked off a ton of reaction on the Internets, Digga says it's nothing but lyrical sport to her.
While backstage, where Odd Future was also slated to perform, Rah Digga casually brushed aside any tension between her and Tyler. “I wasn't trying to make an event out of it,” said Digga. “I guess it became an event because he's so popular. For me, it was this guy and that guy using my name. Tyler didn't reference me in a song, but he had a couple disparaging remarks to me on Twitter.”
The beef started when Tyler, a known Twitter prankster, tweeted “Happy Father's Day” to Rah Digga which set off a volley of words. But it was Tyler's dig at MC Lyte that got under Digga's skin. “When I caught wind of what was going on with MC Lyte, I was like ‘come on man.' She's not going to come out swinging. Pick on somebody that's going to give you a run for your money. Everybody excuses it like he's a crazy little kid. Kids gotta be accountable for their actions.”Why is Tyler attacking female MC's?
