In Touch Weekly blasts Kim Kardashian saying she had a secret relationship with New England Patriots player Bret Lockett, 24, while she's dating fiance Kris Humphries. In Touch Weekly states they received there information from actress Lauren London which Kim's people say is false. According to the magazine Kim and Bret planned to go on vacation together, and she even begged him for a naked picture exchange during one of their flirtatious text exchanges.
Bret’s brother Colin said Kim's been cheating on Kris since they began talking in Oct. 2010, when Kim’s friend Lauren London requested Bret’s phone number for her.
“They chatted and then they started texting each other,” Colin told In Touch magazine.
Bret's only response is;“I don’t like to comment on my personal life, but Kim is a great girl,” he tells the mag in a statement. “I hope she’s happy.”
So Kim Kardashian is suing Bret and In touch magazine, stating that this "at a minimum, damaging, defamatory, and an invasion of her privacy."
So who do you believe?
KIM fires back:
"I knew when I got engaged that rumors and false stories were going to start, but this is RIDICULOUS!!!! In Touch Magazine is claiming that I had a five-month secret relationship with this guy… a guy I’ve never met, spoken to, texted, called or even heard of!
This guy should be ashamed of himself. Calling up a magazine and making up an entirely fake story in a sad attempt to ruin my relationship!?!?! It’s just shameful and this guy should feel ashamed and humiliated. Is this your pathetic attempt for attention? I’ll be damned if anyone, especially some loser I’ve never even met, is going to try to come between Kris and me. My friend Lauren London has never even met this guy, so to say she was the one who set us up is totally untrue. I find it so sad that a magazine will take the word of a stranger and try to pass their story off as true. And what’s even more odd is that this guy would carry on a “relationship,” yet never speak on the phone or see me in person! Makes no sense!
The text messages the magazine claims I sent this guy are pathetic. ‘Why don’t you put in effort to try and make me your girlfriend doll?” I would never talk like that to a guy. They just threw in the word “doll” a few times and tried to make it sound like me. I talk like that to my girlfriends, not to my man. It makes me sick to my stomach that any one can call up a magazine, tell an entirely fake story, provide fake proof, and the magazine will go ahead and run it… just to sell copies!!! What a crazy world.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… don’t believe everything you read. The tabloids and weekly magazines will do ANYTHING to sell copies, and in this case they decided to run a false story, knowing they had absolutely no proof that it was real. It’s disgusting, and I will be taking legal action against In Touch magazine and Bret Lockett"
Bret's response he has phone records, text messages and cell phone pics sent from Kim and if push comes to shove, he's willing to present the evidence in court. So the battle continues....
Everyone thinks this is just a publicity stunt for ratings for E's "Keeping up with the Kardashians" season premiere we shall see
Bret has more to say about the situation “It really doesn’t bother me because when all the allegations are correct and all the facts are in place, it’s nothing to bother me at all. I’m actually not shocked that she said that I'm lying, but at the end of the day, I know what it is. And if she wants to go ahead and pursue with those actions, that’s not a problem with me.”
He goes on to say "What me and Kim do is what me and Kim do, all of that other stuff is irrelevant, Kim knows what happened, and I know what happened. Kim can deny this all she wants to, but if she wants to go the legal route, and start recalling text messages and conversations and pictures and all of that, then that’s not a problem. I respect Kim as a woman and I respect Kim as a business woman. At the end of the day, Kim reached out to me. I did not reach out to her. So for her to go this route… it would have been different if she had said, ‘Yeah, I knew him, but it didn’t go this way.’ If she had gone that route, it would have been a whole different story.”
Now the latest from Kim's legal team warned him if he doesn’t retract his allegations and cease from making fresh ones, his new position will be defendant on the left side of the courtroom. Kim's attorney Michael Kump, says, “To put it very plainly and clearly, and as Mr. Lockett knows, there is not now, and never has been such a relationship,” adding, “Ms. Kardashian does not know and has never even met Mr. Lockett.”
This is turning out to be a big mess, I hope its just publicity for the show and it'll die down after the season starts? What do you think ?
Bret Lockett was on "Showbiz Tonight" and stated that "I Never Actually Met Kim Kardashian but we had a 5 month relationship? Is he just trying to get some attention or is he serious?

Kim's lawyers are drafting a defamation lawsuit against Lockett and will file it today.
