News: Christina Aguilera's Dramatic 2011
Let's face it Christina Aguilera had one of the worst years of her career. She started off with the failure of her latest album, Bionic, next the end of her marriage. And just when you thought it couldn't get worse she messed up the words to the National Anthem during this year’s Super Bowl. To make matters worse she even fell down while trying to redeem herself a week later at the Grammy Awards.
In her cover story for W magazine, she opens up about the rough times. On her marriage she explained, "At one time or another we were both not angels. It got to a point where our life at home was reminding me of my own childhood." Saying she didn’t want her son growing up in a similar tumultuous background.
As for the Super Bowl, she said "I got lost in the emotion of being there and I messed up the lyrics to the song." When it comes to falling down during the well received Grammy tribute to Aretha Franklin, Christina thanked Jennifer Hudson for catching her. Christina said, “My heel got caught in my train, and if it wasn't for Jennifer Hudson, who picked me up as I went down, I would have fallen to the floor.”
Not all things are bad for Christina, she has a new role as a judge on the new NBC hit show "The Voice". Not only is the show a huge hit, but she's making $225,000 per episode, while the other judges only make $75,000 per episode.
