Model On The Rise: Noah

On The 6th presents an up and coming model by the name of Noah. Take a minute and get to know him.

In his own words:


My name is Lamar aka Noah I'm from Flint,Michigan. I am 22 years old and proud to say that I am a Taurus. I work as a host at Cafe Intermezzo In Atlanta. I Model as well on the side until I can model full time.

I did my first modeling project in December of 2009. I did a test photo shoot in Detroit and once I saw the final product, I was blown away at myself and knew from that point on I was destined to conquer the modeling world.

I know most models start off at a young age but I didn't start thinking about modeling until the age of 19. So far I've a lot of proud moments, but one that stands out more is when I did a photo shoot with Atlanta's very own Tyxavier Weldon (www.Tyxavierphotography.com). It was an editorial shoot and I had never did one of those before. It was truly a blessing.

I have a lot of goals that I want to achieve while I'm still alive,but the main goal is walking in NEW YORK'S FASHION WEEK.

When I first moved to Atlanta everything went downhill for me, I was homeless for a few days, and living from house to house. I really felt like I've made a bad decision by moving here. I always tell myself "everything happens for a reason". Once I got myself together I started focusing on me, that's when things started looking good for me. I was able to find a job and also do modeling.

My Personality is funny, loving and caring all in one. A lot of people say they love being around me. I never understood why, maybe because I'm a free spirit. I love myself, I love the way I am and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. I feel like if your true to yourself and others people will respect you even more.

The best advice I've ever received was from my grandmother Pattie. She always told me to never give up what you like to do, because at the end of the day all you have is you.

Advice I have for the new era of male models is to be dedicated to your hopes and dreams. People will try their best to bring you down when they see you reaching for success and more importantly NEVER let anyone hand you your career!


I'm working on myself , now that I am employed I can do afford to do the things I've always wanted to do like print out comp cards for modeling, look for an apartment etc. I'm really trying to find a good Modeling agency that's going to market me the way I want to be marketed.


When most people use the word "Sexy" they're immediately going by how someone looks. Sexy can me a lot of things, you can be sexy for good parenting,you can be sexy for being independent, having goals, knowing what you want out of life, your personality and so on. You don't have to look a certain way to be consider sexy, In my eyes everyone is sexy in their own way.


My soul mate has to know what he wants out of life, he has to be funny, adventurous, loving and caring. He has to understand that I model so I will be meeting new people everyday. He can't have trust issues, and more importantly he just has to be himself. I love seeing the real person instead of seeing the person that there trying to be.
