Must Watch TV: Tracee Ellis Ross "Reed Between The Lines"

Tracee Ellis Ross is back on TV with a new role as Dr. Carla Reed in the new BET show "Reed Between The Lines" It also stars "The Cosby Show" star Malcolm Jamal Warner.

“What you can expect to see is a happily married couple, who’s working it out raising three kids,” Tracee told BET.com.

“Malcolm plays a stay at home dad, an online professor holding down the fort so I can get my practice moving because I am a therapist. Our show is about the zany things that happen when you have three kids, are trying to work and live your life.”

"Reed Between The Lines" premieres October 11th on BET.

News: Lil B "I'm Gay" Out Now

Lil B denied any notion of being gay himself, but to barely address the issue on the LP is a glaring omission. "I'm very gay, but I love women, I'm not attracted to men in any way. I've never been attracted to a man in my life. But yes I am gay, I'm so happy. I'm a gay, heterosexual male."

Lil B says that his intent for the album was to breakdown barriers and show that words don't mean anything. "Don't let a word make you discriminate upon another human," he said when he appeared on "Rap Fix Live" this past May on MTV. "Because at the end of the day, no matter what you do, I should be happy for you, because you're alive. You're living life."

In the commercial sense, there are no records aimed at radio and no kinetic, celebrity-themed anthems. "I'm Gay" is filled with mid-tempo, soul-sampling tracks. The album finds the Berkeley, California, rapper pondering his place in the world, and goes on to address racial profiling and media persecution. You can get the album now on Itunes.

News: Terrell Owens Dead Beat Father ?

Terrell Owens’ baby's mother says Terrell has refused to pay the full $5,000 a month in child support he owes.

Melanie Paige Smith filed court papers on June 20th in an Atlanta court seeking to hold the player in contempt. "Terrell has failed and refused to pay the full amount of child support for June 2011,” Atlanta attorney Randall Kessler wrote in court records.

Owens’ financial advisers have informed Smith that he’s decided to no longer pay the full amount, Kessler added.

So you just wake up one morning and decide not to pay? What do you think about this?

My Project Runway Quandry

Project Runway Gives Tim Gunn a Headache

Dearest BunnyNation – I need your advice.

Some of you may recall that on October 29, 2010 I vowed NEVER to mention Project Runway on this blog again. This was prompted by the ending of yet another disastrous Lifetime season of this once great show – manufactured by the despicable production team of Bunim-Murray. Gretchen Whatshername, you might remember, ended up beating the fabulous and inspiring Mondo Guerra. And she won by sending granny panties down the runway…

And no, I’m still not over it.

But, just as in seasons past, the bitter taste of Project Runway Season 8 has faded with time. And in 28 days the show will return for Season 9.

Here’s my quandary. As I’ve said before, I really want/need to get back to doing recaps. Project Runway was the first show I ever recapped – and those recaps were the first thing on my blog to get noticed/acknowledged by the rest of the blogosphere. Project Runway, literally, put DavidDust on the map - and it's the reason many of you found me.

So ... should I bite my tongue, go back on my promise and recap this season anyway?? I don’t care so much about the vow never to mention the show again – in fact, I’m breaking that vow right now (with this post). And, let’s face it, I vow every day not to stuff my face full of fast food and carbs – and promptly break THAT sucker every day at about 12:30 pm. So the whole “vow” thing isn’t that big of a deal (NOTE TO SELF: Don't ever get gaymarried).

I just hate the fact that this season will undoubtedly be another stinker – and Bunim-Murray will screw it up, as they have every season since the show moved to Lifetime. I’m feeling a little bit like one of those sad Babymamas on Maury – no matter how badly she/I/we get treated by the NO GOOD BABYDADDY (AKA Lifetime), we keep coming back for more. And each time she/I/we return, we convince ourselves that this time it will be different.

It won't be different this time, but I want to do the right thing by my DustBunnies. Should I recap this damned trainwreck ... or not?

New Album: Kanye West & Jay-Z "Watch The Throne"

One of the most highly anticipation albums of the year the Jay-Z and Kanye West's joint album "Watch the Throne" is getting ready to come out.

"The Source" magazine reported that the album would be dropping on July 4.

"They are ready to go. Right now, all the music and everything is done," CyHi The Prince told MTV.

On Tuesday, the Fourth of July speculation continued to swirl as AllHipHop.com ran a rumor report that said that the album will come Monday as a digital-only release to avoid leaks.

CyHi would neither confirm nor deny that report, saying he wasn't privy to that information.

"I don't know the business of the logistics of it," he said, "Those are the bosses. You never know what they gonna do and how they gonna put it out"

Until then, so we will continue to wait and watch for the album.

"I trusted someone that worked 4 me & allowed them to use my labtop a million times, I caught this person sending my pics to themselves and I fired this person immediately Wiz & I & both of our families have known about this for 2 months now. We tried to prepare ourselves for this day. Those pictures r 2 1/2 years old just sitting in my computer I’m really hurt & embarrassed because I have so many young girls that look up to me. I would never put those pics out of myself.

The company that I was working with no longer wants to work with me because of these pics and that prevents me from getting money to take care of my family. Its a messed up situation when someone so evil comes into ur life and tries to destroy it. I know I’m not the only girl in the world that has taken pics like that but they were very private. I’m sorry for letting my young Rosebuds down. Pls understand this was a result of trusting a person that didn’t deserve my trust. I have cried for the past 2 days but I know this to shall pass. Thank u for all of ur support."

News: Erykah Badu Changes Her Name

Erykah Badu has changed her name to Dj Lo Down Lorettas Brown for her latest project. She will be releasing a mixtape that she says is something you can dance too.

Back in December, Badu came from behind her microphone and took to the turntables, introducing her alter ego, DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown, at a party in her hometown of Dallas.

She promises that her mixtape will "melt any DJ's face off." Badu is functioning as both the DJ and producer of the project.

News: J.Cole Gets With Rihanna

Rihanna has found a new man to be her official tour opener, no other then J. Cole one of the hottest rappers out.

Rihanna announced on Twitter that rapper J. Cole, who was will serve as her main opening act on the tour, which began earlier this month.

Rihanna's "Loud" tour travels the U.S. through July 24 before heading to Europe in August. It's set to wrap up in late December.

There was a similar switch-up for Rihanna's Last Girl on Earth Tour in 2010, when Nicki Minaj pulled out at the last minute and was quickly replaced with Travie McCoy. Ke$ha also opened on that tour.

News: Rick Ross Sued For Killing A Dog

Rick Ross is being accused of killing a 3yr old Yorkie named Banks according to a lawsuit filed against the rapper.

The owner states that 3 of Rick Ross's pit bulls escaped from his mansion in Atlanta back in April, entered her property and attacked her tiny pet Yorkshire Terrier.

Cops were called to the scene and managed to free Banks, but his wounds were so extreme, that the owner had no choice but to euthanize her beloved companion.

Investigators eventually cited Ross for the incident but the owner wasn't satisfied so she filed suit, demanding Ross fork over $15,000 in damages and court costs.

The owner is especially upset because Ross has not apologized for the incident.
